Less Is More

Warning: Spoilers
Season one with Maggie, O. A., Dana, Jubal ,Kristen ( I know she left by choice) and Ian worked so well. A maternity leave during FBI actually hurt the show to a degree. We only had one Season to enjoy the Maggie character. Pregnancy happens to TV show characters in real life all the time, I get it. That puts pressure on the network but it is their issue to deal with. The Emily Ryder character who was actually filling in for Kristen was a keeper. A good match with Stuart Scola (John Boyd). The Emily character gave the show it's best chance if bouncing back. Season 2 was not the same FBI I grew to love though. Season 1 kept me on the edge of my seat. FBI was one of my favorite shows all of a sudden. But now, Season 3 has more unevenness and too many characters. I have finally jumped on the Tiffany "has too big a role" bandwagon. At first I figured give her character time to develop. Now Tiffany is making supervisor calls on her own. Maggie and O. A. are taking a back seat on FBI? They made the field scenes worth watching. Big mistake CBS. Where was Ian in this episode? Did Emily leave the show by her choice? Ian's tech abilities in Season 1 made the office scenes more interesting and believable. Sorry Kelly Moran (Taylor Anthony Miller), your character has been annoying. The office scenes have too many moving parts now. The Ian (James Chen) character better return fast. Time is running out CBS. You better come up with a formula with flow like Season 1 or Season 4 won't happen. Underneath I'm hoping for some plots and acting that proves me wrong. FBI might "just" squeak by for another round.

Scalia Has a Big Ego Problem
shelbythuylinh30 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I have no problem with Tiffany. It is her partner and training buddy Scalia that has the ego. He showed disrespect to the NYPD.

Yes the person that was killed in the COTW was a federal guard and Stu took it personally. But still he should not have been showing contempt to the NYPD there.

As one of the cops was a killer and a robber and nearly got his own partner implicated there. Despite the partner being a former training buddy of Tiffany at the NYPD before she went fed.

Even though her former training officer Dixon will be not charged with obstruction, really next time Stu meets up with the NYPD it will be a different conversation as NYPD will now hold a grudge against him. Whether they got Palmer or not.

Interesting plot

Warning: Spoilers
While I only gave this a 6 I felt the plot was good but unoriginal. It could have been made more interesting if it was a computer hacker who hired guys with a history of armed robbery. Maybe my idea is more unoriginal.

My big gripe with this episode was the case was someone connected to one of the agents from a Non-FBI point of view but a previous job. What are the chances and they did the same in FBI: Most Wanted.
