Peter Symonds had concerns over his characters racist dialogue, and at first asked for changes to the script. After some discussion he agreed to use the dialogue as written.
The red dress used in the rape scene was supposed to be torn off, but it couldn't be done due to the thickness of the material. To get around this problem scissors were used to make well placed cuts to the dress so that it would rip and tear as required.
When asked about the rape scene by Bizarre magazine the director stated that he put the scene in just to upset feminists.
Michelle Walkling, who played Nancy, was suspended from her day job due to her appearance in this film, specifically the rape scene, which seemed to cause her bosses some embarrassment.
All the blood and gore used in the film was done the old fashioned way, without any computer generated trickery.
