New Delhi, March 30 (Ians) Gary Mehigan, who was behind the humongous success of ‘MasterChef Australia’, has become a registered Indophile by the look of it.
Somewhat like the Australian (and also Delhi Capitals) cricket star David Warner, who almost became the face of Tollywood during his stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mehigan knows more about India than any homegrown desi would on a good day.
Not surprising, considering that he has been here 12 times in 18 months, travelling across the country from the highlands of Munnar in Kerala to Ladakh, soaking in the Hemis Festival, to Nagaland, chilling at Hornbill. Sampling ‘langarwali dal’ and roti at Anandpur Sahib one day or, on another, riding a truck in Kolkata carrying an idol of Goddess Durga being taken for immersion to the Hooghly, shooting for Nat Geo’s ‘India Mega Festivals’ series.
And of course, if you’re a chef who spends more time...

The chef, who has appeared on the TV show “MasterChef Australia”, added, “When it comes to building muscle, he just keeps it very clean with a lot of barbecuing – like meats and vegetables – and keeping it Mediterranean, which involves a lot of olive oil.”
Perera explained how Hemsworth never snacks on anything “boxed or canned” and eats a “hearty salad” on a daily basis, reports aceshowbiz.com.

At every instance where something dramatic occurs in Fairhope, I’m reminded of how easy it is for television to make things up. Hulu describes Love in Fairhope as “uniquely unscripted” (whatever that means) and uses the words “reimagined romance” to tell us what the five ladies of Fairhope, Alabama, will be experiencing in this nine-part series. Spoiler alert: The show ends on a huge cliffhanger, and I’m not quite sure where the romance went. There’s something so unsettling about the terrible (sometimes terrifying) acting and unrealistic dialogue between these people that it cannot in any way come across as “real.” Personally, the only reality TV shows I’ve ever watched are fashion or food competitions. Give me 100 Next in Fashion or Masterchef Australia before putting me through this again, I beg. Love in Fairhope almost looks like a 2000s Western fantasy romance, where a CGI unicorn may appear out of the blue,...

Mumbai, June 27 (Ians) ‘MasterChef Australia 2023’ contestant and Indian – Origin chef Adi Nevgi in a surprise mystery box challenge decided to make Indian street favourite pani puri with a Mexican twist.
Commenting on her excitement to make the classic Pani Puri, the 31-year-old said: “I’m making Pani Puri which is an Indian street snack. There are diverse streaming releases slates and then there is Hulu’s list of new releases for May 2022. There are no big franchises here, no big themes – just a whole bunch of original and library titles for everyone to enjoy.
Hulu’s major original releases in May come in the middle of the month. Candy premieres on May 9 and stars Jessica Biel as your friendly neighborhood axe murderer. If that sounds a bit outlandish, bear in mind that this limited series is based on the real life story of Candy Montgomery and her victim, the tragically named Betty Gore. On May 15, Hulu will play host to Conversations with Friends. This is the latest adaptation of the works of Sally Rooney. After the breakaway success of Normal People, Hulu is undoubtedly hoping for more lightning in a bottle.

(Read our minute-by-minute live blog here.) Lagasse’s work is now complete, so a new special guest star, Curtis Stone, will take his place during next week’s second hour. The Australian chef-lebrity joins the auditions round alongside host Gordon Ramsay and judges Joe Bastianich and Aaron Sanchez. If you can’t take the kitchen, get out of Fox’s primetime. On Wednesday, the Season 11 premiere of “MasterChef” — a “legends” season — was strong enough to carry Fox and freshman baking competition “Crime Scene Kitchen” to a first-place finish among adults 18-49. Of course, it helps that Fox, unlike its “Big 4” competition, doesn’t schedule the relatively low-rated 10 o’clock hour. Even so, Fox finished fourth last night counting viewers of all ages. ABC finished first in terms of total-viewer averages last night, drawing 3.09 million from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. NBC was close behind with an average of 3.06 million total viewers. Fox was first in ratings with a 0.5 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but fourth in total viewers with an average of 2.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m., the “MasterChef” Season 11 premiere scored a 0.6/4 and 2.4 million viewers. Week 2 of Joel McHale-hosted competition “Crime Scene Kitchen...

As the kids say, we only stan legends.
And MasterChef Season 10 Episode 1 gave came out the gate with the iconic Emeril Lagasse on top of our coveted MasterChef trio of Gordon, Aaron, and Joe.
Can we keep Emeril forever?!
Gordon made sure he pointed it out multiple times that he's been trying to get Emeril to come on the show for the better part of a decade, and Gordon was practically gleeful that he wore down the Bam king.
But honestly, there wasn't a better time for him to pop up than the opening hour of a season devoted to legends, right?
It felt so good witnessing Emeril Lagasse onscreen in a format like this. As someone who recalls vividly coming home from school and watching his series with my grandmother while I did homework, his very presence brought back such fond memories.
Emeril has such a homey quality to him.

Bam! The 11th season premiere of “MasterChef” welcomed Emeril Lagasse, one of the most famous culinary artists in the world, as a special “Legend” to help mentor the all-new contestants. He joined up with host Gordon Ramsay and returning fan-fave judges Joe Bastianich and Aaron Sanchez. The last time “MasterChef” aired was Summer 2019, so it’s been two years since we’ve seen home cooks try their luck at impressing some of the most notable names in the food industry. The reason for the delay was the Covid-19 pandemic that shuttered most of the entertainment industry, however the show was finally able to film beginning in Fall 2020. How did Wednesday’s highly anticipated premiere play out?

“Lego Masters” returns for a second season on Tuesday with a new crop of contestants that once again live up to the show’s title — and perhaps even more so than last year. Season 1 featured impressive builds from some incredibly creative minds — but according to executive producers Anthony Dominici and Michael Heyerman, many of the nation’s most talented Lego builders weren’t ready to compete back then.
Cut to Season 2: Now that they’ve seen the show and verified how legit “Lego Masters” is, everyone wants in. “I would say that we found a lot of the builders that we cast this season were probably the ones who were a little nervous about joining a first season show,” Dominici says. “They didn’t know what the sort of tone of the show would be. A lot of our builders this season were big fans of the first season.

Hulu’s list of new releases for June 2021 is highlighted by a host of useful library titles and one fascinating original film.
The original film in question is the one that lends its delightful photo of Pierce Brosnan delivering a baby to this post. False Positive stars and was written by Ilana Glazer (Broad City). It sounds like a really fun, creepy time with a synopsis that reads: “After months of trying and failing to get pregnant, Lucy (Glazer) and Adrian (Justin Theroux) finally find their dream fertility doctor in the illustrious Dr. Hindle (Pierce Brosnan). But after becoming pregnant with a healthy baby girl, Lucy begins to notice something sinister through Hindle’s gleaming charm, and she sets out to uncover the unsettling truth about him, and her own “birth story.” Cool!
Hulu’s other original offerings aren’t too inspiring this month. Only Love, Victor season 2 on June 11 moves the needle much.
