John Barrowman's 'Tonight's The Night' has been axed. The BBC Saturday night show - which began airing in April 2009 - has been on screens for three series, but has now come to an end, much to the 45-year-old actor's disappointment. A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: ''John's very disappointed. He loved the show and knows it was popular.'' The show - which is filmed in Glasgow, Scotland - picked up around four million viewers per episode, and those who watched were treated to members of the public singing with big-named artists and daredevil stunts performed by unsuspecting people.

In This video interview for Torchwood: Miracle Day, stars John Barrowman and Bill Pullman and creator and executive producer Russell T Davies spill the beans on what fans can expect in the new series.
Barrowman, who's back as Captain Jack Harkness, explains: "A lot of shows deal with world annihilation, with the human race being wiped out. Well, Russell and the team decided to flip-flop it: What would happen if everybody was immortal? But Jack has become mortal".
Bill Pullman, whose previous roles include playing the president in Independence Day, explains that he plays a child-killer called Oswald Danes, who - as a result of the global phenomenon in which no one dies - miraculously survives the electric chair.
This new series is a co-production between the BBC and Us network Starz and has been filmed in Wales and Los Angeles. It's meant the cast and crew relocating to the USA.
