- Berle's guests are the Andrews Sisters, Gertrude Berg and Arlene McQuade. Molly Goldberg asks Milton to help her provide entertainment for a benefit. His chosen guests, Bobby Sherwood and the Andrews Sisters are reluctant to assist.
- The show opens with Gertrude Berg as Molly Goldberg, hanging out of her window telling her neighbor about how much she loves Milton Berle's show.
After the men from Texaco sing their opening song, Berle and company perform a production number about America's presidents, in honor of Eisenhower's inauguration on this date.
Backstage, Berle's secretary Max calls to tell him, again, how madly in love she is with him. Milton promises to call her back--in six months.
Watching this on TV, Molly is convinced Max and Berle should be married, so he calls up Milton. She tells his to come over to discuss something of great benefit to him. Milton misunderstands and thinks she wants he to perform at a benefit. He asks the Andrews Sisters to perform with him, but they want to be paid immediately for their performance on this week's show. Berle opens the safe he has hidden under his necktie to get them their money.
When Jimmy Nelson and his dummies finish up their Texaco pitch, the Andrews Sisters act as his dummies, with Patty on his knee, singing "Danny Boy."
At Molly's apartment, she explains there's a girl she knows who loves a guy who won't marry her. Berle thinks she's talking about her daughter Rosalie, so he agrees to help "hook this schnook" by staging a wedding, inviting the groom, and forcing him to give in.
The next night at the wedding, Berle does a song called "She's Gonna Get Married" and the Andrews Sisters perform "The Anniversary Waltz." Berle walks the bride down the aisle to give her away. "Where's the groom?" he wonders. When he hears Max's voice from underneath the bridal veil, he runs for the door.
We next see Berle at the Marine recruiter's officer, trying to join the Foreign Legion.
Berle says goodnight to the audience, does a verse of his theme "Near You," and the Texaco men sing their show close.
