This wonderful documentary (with way too many commercials) continues to look at the world of late night television, The focus here has to do with the inevitable departure of Johnny Carson and his successor. The two vying for this job are Jay Leno and David Letterman. We are given some insights into the incredible power that Carson had and how important these time slots are to Network television. The battle of loyalties involving Joan Rivers are covered and others dipping their toes in the water are talked about. Arsenio Hall was probably the most successful new face. We also got to see the ham handed producers, some of the behind the scenes people, and how some of the "nice" people weren't always that nice. Well done.
