Every Production Designer has an ace or two in their deck – my feeling is that veteran Production Designer Jade Healy's trump card might be Chris Trujillo. Having worked on several low budget NYC-based, independent film productions in 2009 means that, the Art Director can file 2010 as a great breakout year. The Imperialists Are Still Alive!, Happythankyoumoreplease and Holy Rollers (for which he was a Set Decorator) were a trio of Sundance preemed titles where Trujillo's name can be found in the end credits and he would follow this up with the SXSW winning title Tiny Furniture. Prior to that, Trujillo helped supervise the spooky set construction for Ti West's The House of the Devil (2009) and has recently worked on West's The Innkeepers.
