- On a business trip to Paris with Teddy and Philip, Olivia runs into an old friend, Isabelle. Reminiscing is short lived, as Isabelle soon admits to being in debt to Bejan, a high powered Parisian man running a sex trafficking ring out of her hotel.—Anonymous
- Teddy (), Olivia () and Philip () travel to Paris to secure a big merger with a French mineral company. When they arrive at the hotel, Olivia runs into an old friend from college, Isabelle, who is the director of the hotel. Later, however, Olivia overhears Isabelle being shouted at by a Russian man, Bayonne, and Isabelle reveals that he is forcing her to run an escort service out of the hotel because she is in debt to him. She tells Olivia and Teddy that underaged girls are being brought into the country illegally from Eastern Europe and forced into the sex trade, and Olivia immediately offers to help pay Isabelle's debts so that she can escape the situation. Isabelle gratefully accepts, but several hours later, she falls to her death from the ceiling of the ballroom in front of a horrified Olivia. She reports seeing Bayonne arguing with Isabelle to the police, but the detective, Collin, quickly dismisses Bayonne as a suspect, leading Teddy and Olivia to consider that he is being bribed.
Teddy pretends to buy one of Bayonne's prostitutes, Ivana, and then asks the girl about Isabelle's death. She refuses to speak, however, afraid for the life of her little sister Raya, who is going to be brought to Paris to work for Bayonne as well. Teddy and Dax immediately jet off to Moldova to find the girl, but she is kidnapped before they can reach her. When they follow the kidnappers, they find that dozens of other girls are being transported at the same time as well and they return to Paris, momentarily stymied. At the same time, Philip attempts to handle the merger meeting by himself, but the minister of transportation, Yves Moehringer (), is unimpressed that Teddy is absent and uninterested in the deal. Teddy hatches a plan to catch Bayonne "the old-fashioned way" by throwing a party and then having him arrested once he brings all of his girls to the hotel, and also tells Philip to find some "ammo" on Moehringer to get him to agree to the deal. He meets with Bayonne and requests all of his "employees," as well as free reign of the casino in the hotel, to which Bayonne agrees, for a large sum of money. He then meets with Detective Collin again and forces him to admit that he is involved with Bayonne's schemes, and offers him immunity to help with the sting operation. Philip then reveals to Teddy that Moehringer is also involved with the prostitution scandal, as he is Bayonne's former brother-in-law.
Before the party, Teddy and Dax travel to the safehouse where the girls are being kept. When they leave for the party, Raya is not amongst them, and Teddy and Dax sneak into the house to find her. Once they free her, Teddy tells Dax to escape with her while he causes "a diversion," in which he burns down the house and narrowly escapes. He returns to the party and meets with Bayonne again, planning to "pay" him for his services and then have him arrested, but Bayonne receives a phone call about the fire and realizes that he has been betrayed. He pulls a gun on Teddy and then drags him out to the banks of the Seine to kill him, but he is shot dead by Collin. Teddy is shocked, having planned for the man to simply be arrested, but agrees that there are different kinds of "ethics" when it comes to serious crimes. He returns to the party, and he, Ivana and Philip confront Moehringer and reveal that they know about his illegal activities and plan to have him arrested. The French Prime Minister, to whom Teddy has been telling his story, congratulates him on his work and assures him that the merger will go through, and also rewards him with the Légion d'honneur, which Teddy gives to Olivia. He then leaves to go find "a date," but ends up on a lonely stroll by the Seine
