Pushy and impatient customers lock horns with equally hostile and irritable employees at an extremely busy grocery store. Writer/director George Retalis relates the frantic and amusing narrative at a furiously brisk pace and ably milks the frenzied situation for a wickedly funny line in inspired sharp and abrasive humor (the surprise ending in particular is positively sidesplitting!). Shot in one continuous steady and well-sustained take, the rough and shaky hand-held cinematography gives the picture a certain raw burning energy and further adds to the overall fierce sardonic immediacy of the piece. Moreover, the game cast play their colorful parts with real commendable go-for-it gusto, with especially stand-out work by Brandon Rogers as hot-tempered overbearing jerk manager Chase, Edward Hightower as a sarcastic cashier, and Bill Breidenbach as harried deli clerk Dave. An absolute gut-buster.
