This a bit different from the more common "generic Irish-American" accent often used by US actors. Or the other major Irish Republic accents: the widespread middle class "supraregional Irish English" or South-West Irish English or Local Dublin English (e.g.
The Commitments (1991) and
The Van (1996)) .
