The great British outdoor cinema roulette season gets into full swing this month. Peroni have teamed up with Go Opera and producer Kwes for a series of contemporary and immersive productions of classic Italian operas. Opera di Peroni runs for two seasons - spring/summer and autumn/winter - presenting two productions of authentic operas that will be run with a modern soundtrack, including new music from Kwes. Key arias from Verdi's La Traviata and Puccini's La Bohème and La Rondine will be reworked into new productions in an al fresco opera scene. The operas will be performed at London's Triton Square on July 5 to 7. They then move to Birmingham Cathedral Square for July 11 to 12, travelling to Manchester Media City on July 18 to 19 and Liverpool Anglican Cathedral for August 15 to 16.
