The plot is very different and new. Made in shoestring budget, a neatly crafted movie based on actual events. Surprisingly genuine. If you are interested in the history of Srilankan Civil war and LTTE, this is a must watch.

The characters portrayed in the movie are much similar to the real one which reflects the reality ,Ezham tamil dialets is really sweet to here in this movie overall movie is great to watch i personally felt its a small tribute to the tamils leader by people who love and believe tamil nationalism.

The wonderful movie that i ever saw in my whole life.... In such a Small Budget, every corner of the movie was excellent... The music, the cinematography, the Direction, costume, specially those characters matching with real one and every thing was amazing... The only movie that covey true story that happened... These types of movies should be supported and encouraged...

Best movie out of Low budget with world class cinematography and person who played Prabhakaran role is such a master piece. This movie is all about early ages of Prabhakaran and what made him more rebellious against cruelty committed by Lankan govt on aboriginals. We encourage the entire team to release the sequel of this movie.

Methagu shows the initial development of Prabhakaran and why all these protests were started. Kittu brilliantly picturised most of the issues provided a very low budget and amateurish acting((some of them did a great job tho esp.kutty mani)) .The Eelam issue has finally got its good recognition after the glasses shattered by The Family Man 2 and Jagame thanthiram.

I felt this film needs much more wider prospect,cover more stories and tell more!

Waiting for the upcoming sequels to the story after being highly impressed by Kittu's work and i'm sure that he can do much more better with a bit higher budget.!!!

The whole movie is based on the history of ethnic conflict in srilanka and how the events put forth by the extremist Sinhala Buddhist monks led to a civil war. This movie is historically accurate to it's very detail that those who suffer the srilankan Tamil genocide will be left with tears while watching"Methagu".

Also this movie shows the necessity that forced Tamil people to lead an armed freedom struggle in srilanka.

The movie has a lot of answer for the questions like why Leader prabakaran took violence way towards their freedom..?

This Epic movie Methagu will open your third eye. Based on a true story happened North Eastern Province in Ceylon between 1954 - 1975.

Hats off to Director T. Kittu who has directed the film Methagu which records the early life of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran.

One of the best movie. This is my first time, I am writing review for an movie. Story narration and direction awesome. The actor(Kutti Mani) who acted as the leader Prabhakaran has performed really very well. He carried the character on his shoulder. His attitude towards the character awesome. One of the finest movie. Everyone must watch this.
