This episode was again still funny, but it was also uplifting and emotional at times. When Ros' 'mammy' finally arrives, she is horrible to Ros and only wants her money from Sebastian. Catherine Tate does a great job portraying Ros' mum and I think it's really clever how she is interacting with herself as another character. Also in this episode, it is really nice to see Ange start to build up her confidence. I am starting to understand the point of having Ange as a character now, as previously she was just a painfully shy and timid inmate who didn't really play any main part in the story or add to the comedy element of the show. Finally, probably the funniest part of Hard Cell so far was in this episode. Laura wants to connect with Welsh Sian and so she hires a translator to attempt to understand her, however he (Ioan) also speaks so quickly that Laura has no idea what he is saying. The funniest thing about it is that both Laura and Ioan fancy each other to some extent but Laura just doesn't have a clue what he is talking about!
In summary, this was a great episode and I'm looking forward to finding out what's going to happen next!
