Very dissapointed with this decision of TOEI (also warning some of the reviews here have manga spoilers).

First I will say this review won't spoil from manga but some reviews here have spoilers manga so be aware if you are anime only. This episode adapted already a slow part of the manga and padded it to fulfill time with fillers as they usually do. But my biggest disappointment comes from the Zoro scene as others mentioned. This reveal was supposed to be one of the big things with some other reveals that happens simultaneously and made one of the best chapters of one piece. But Toei decided to not only reveal it early on but in such a mundane manner too. Zoro having Coc was teased early on but Oda never showed him use it like this on fodders. Not sure how anime staff can change such a big thing like this very disappointing.

I get the hate

Yes an important thing 30 or so chapters from now was alluded to, but i found it tasteful. Zoro and Luffy getting upset was perfect for their characters. Also the play around them running ahead was really funny, and I didn't mind the fan service with the tanks.

I'm surprised by the hate on this episode. We're almost 1000 episodes in and we're still criticizing to every little detail.

This episode is just being a bridge for the further things to come. Enjoy the ride! Don't be so harsh!

New Characters

The episode was pretty good. The animation was a 10/10 again like all episodes in the Wano arc. There is no fighting in this episode, however the episode makes you angry at Kaido's men for making fun of Ebisu town and Okobore town with the use of flashbacks. The introduction of some new characters at the end look promising. I have read the manga and one of the characters introduced has a history with the Gomu Gomu No Mi.

Wrong turn

There are good moments. But, there were 4 flashbacks during the episode, am I right? One of them repeating the scene from this very episode.

2 episodes ago we praised director. Whoever was making this episode did an awful job. What is going on with acid colours? It was philosophically painful to watch some of the scenes.

And yes, as I said, there were good moments, but they are 1/10 of the duration of the episode.

It feels like Wano spirals into Dressrosa problem.

Unnecessary fanservice, filler and lighting ruined it

The episode was average but had way too much fan service.

Zoro using conqueror's haki in this ruined the hype of him using it in a very difficult situation against Kaido. Even anime only people should be disappointed seeing the reveal was so poorly done.
