The Boys Season 4: Meet the New Characters and Supes - Main Image
The Boys season 4 is returning to Prime Video in June! Considering that new characters are joining the official cast, here are all the new The Boys season 4 characters and supes coming in.
Content Spoilers: This article contains spoilers for Prime Video's The Boys season 4, proceed with caution.
Two of the newest and hottest supes coming in The Boys season 4 are Firecracker and Sister Sage, as previously teased with their costume designs:
Valorie Curry as Firecracker
Valorie Curry plays the redheaded Firecracker who joined Homelander on stage in the official The Boys season 4 trailer.
Based on what's been teased, Firecracker is likely replacing Starlight in The Seven to be used as a younger and sweeter kind of hero than Starlight was.
Firecracker, as her supes' name suggests, can use pyrokinesis in some form, which could explain the weapons on her sash.

It’s hardly unusual for TV journalists to spend time at the movies, but never has a weekend of festival programming seemed so tailor-made for us. The Chicago Critics Film Festival kicked off its 11th edition with a lineup that was fairly bursting with small-screen talent and resonance.
Opening night on May 3 saw the Chicago premiere of Sing Sing, which stars Colman Domingo, who had already reinvigorated The Walking Dead franchise before winning an Emmy for his role in Euphoria. Elsewhere, his co-star Hunter Schafer, one of Euphoria’s many breakouts, gave a gorgeously wounded performance in Cuckoo, a new horror-thriller from Tilman Singer.

Ghost Rider is one of the most popular Marvel characters fans have been clamoring to see in the MCU. However, fans have also debated over who should be the actor playing the Spirit of Vengeance on the big screen. While many believe that actor Keanu Reeves is the best fit for the part, another actor makes an equally worthy candidate.
Keanu Reeves has been a fan-favorite to play MCU’s Ghost Rider.
In the past, The Walking Dead-fame actor Norman Reedus publicly voiced his desire to play the role of Ghost Rider in the MCU. Given Reedus’ filmography and public persona, there is an argument to be made for him probably being better suited for the MCU’s version of Ghost Rider. Here is why Norman Reedus might be a better pick for Ghost Rider in the MCU.

In the post-apocalyptic horror world of The Walking Dead, relationships can be fleeting and rare. Daryl Dixon, the beloved loner played by Norman Reedus, has suffered from a fair amount of grief and heartbreak throughout the series. So when a potential love interest came knocking in the form of Leah (played by Lynn Collins) in season 10, fans were thrilled as well as hesitant.
Can a man hardened by loss and survival find space for romance in a world overrun by walkers? Well, regrettably, following his brief on-screen romance with Collins in season 10, Reedus had to deal with the wrath of The Walking Dead fans, who were gripped by intense emotions.

Game of Thrones was a phenomenon back when it first aired. The HBO series, based on George Rr Martin’s novels, would go on to enthrall fans for years, making fans fall in love with Westeros (not with its inhabitants though). It all seemed to be going well, until, well…, Season 8 happened. The fandom, which couldn’t contain its excitement for the culmination of the series, was not to be found after the finale of the show aired. HBO knew they had messed up, and they are now taking steps to set things right, including hiring Black Mirror director, Owen Harris.

Killing off characters is always difficult, but not for Robert Kirkman. The Walking Dead co-creator reveals that he tends to remove fan-favorite figures from the narrative because too much investment in them might affect the flow of the story.
Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comics
That being said, Kirkman absolutely prefers plot-driven tales. Unlike famed author George R.R. Martin, who is famous for killing off almost every character in the Game of Thrones saga, he gets rid of them because he wants the audience to feel the pain of death.

In a conversation with Entertainment Weekly, comic book creator Robert Kirkman admitted he does not have any favorite characters from The Walking Dead series. Surprisingly, he revealed having the urge to kill off these types of figures as they pose a great danger to the smooth tide of the story.

Robert Kirkman, the creator behind The Walking Dead comic book series, has an unexpected favorite character within the expansive universe. While many would assume that he would choose someone like Steven Yeun’s Glenn, Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes, or any other impressive character from the original survivors, Rickman’s choice diverges significantly from popular opinion.

Despite the array of memorable heroes and villains introduced throughout the series, Kirkman’s preference surprisingly lands on Negan, one of the most brutal characters in the series.

X-Men '97 has featured a handful of memorable cameos from some high-profile Marvel characters, including Spider-Man and Captain America.

"You saw what happened in the last episode [with] Rogue and Captain America," Marquand started. "There's a real chance that that could happen. He can't fly. Captain can't fly. She threw that in the side of a snowy mountain."

After 11 long seasons on screen, The Walking Dead series came to an end in 2022. But the characters of Rick Grimes and Michonne had left the story a while before its conclusion. Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira went on to join the spin-off show, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. The limited series recently had its season finale, and now fans have some questions.
Danai Gurira and Andrew Lincoln in The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live
While the finale has given us a pretty satisfactory ending, it does not mean that it is the end of the story or that the audience is ready to say goodbye to such important characters in the franchise. Most importantly, the biggest question on everyone’s mind is whether Lincoln’s Rick and Gurira’s Michonne have any plans to continue their story with a second season.

Possible spoilers for "The Boys" follow.
We now have a new trailer for season 4 of bloody superhero satire "The Boys," and it looks like a full-blown supe-pocalypse is boiling. After the end of "The Boys" season 3, when Homelander (Antony Starr) killed a protestor in front of a crowd and got only cheers, he's no longer content with being a mere celebrity. No, he's reshaping the Seven into "wrathful gods." He's also Congresswoman Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit), a head-popping supe and Vice Presidential candidate, in his pocket.
Fans of "The Boys" comics (by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson) might see where this is all going. In "The Boys" volume 11 (issues #60-65), "Over the Hill with the Swords of a Thousand Men," Homelander launches a coup against the U.S. government and the Boys go to war to overthrow him. 10. The Walking Dead (2010–2022)
Opening up with the modern classic that revived the zombie apocalypse genre, The Walking Dead presents the least scary undead ever. Sure, there are many of them, but they are agonizingly slow, prone to decomposing and falling apart, dumb as rocks, easy to kill or capture, and ultimately don’t last for too long without feeding.
9. Shaun of the Dead (2004)
Similarly to the walkers from our previous entry, Shaun of the Dead’s zombies aren’t exactly a menace. They’re almost as slow and stupid, but they have a little something going for them. Unlike Twd’s walkers, these zombies can distinguish the living by their sounds, not just blindly search for the noise source. Better stay quiet!

As you know, Rotten Tomatoes rates individual reviews based on a single criterion: for or against the movie. This is more universal than the good old star system, which implies an element of indecision and therefore doubt: what does three out of five stars even mean?
Rotten Tomatoes boils it all down to a binary system – red tomato versus crushed green tomato – that adds up the scores of all reviewers and creates a single rating, making it so convenient to navigate the multitude of TV and movie projects.
Sometimes, however, the opinions of viewers and critics are radically opposite. And one of the clearest examples of this discrepancy is the movie The Boondock Saints, with perhaps the widest gap between critics' and audiences' ratings ever – 26% versus 91%, respectively.

The Walking Dead franchise has spawned multiple shows, comic series, and video games, each of which has been fairly popular in its own way. In today’s world of quick fixes and instant gratification, The Walking Dead is a series that has stood the test of time over a staggering 12 years and eleven seasons. It isn’t every day that you hear that even the cast and crew of a massively popular series are unaware of the future of the series. They usually have a good idea about the direction in which the show is headed. However, that was exactly what happened with the popular post-apocalyptic drama series, The Walking Dead as the star of the show, Jeffrey Dean Morgan once revealed in an interview.

Back in March, Florence Pugh announced that cameras were officially rolling on Thunderbolts by sharing a video from the set to her Instagram page.
The brief clip highlighted Pugh's updated outfit, a first look at Yelena Belova taking aim on one of the monitors, and the movie's official logo on the back of a chair, which appeared to reveal the addition of an asterisk to the title.
Marvel Studios later shared the video, confirming that the supervillain movie will now officially be known as Thunderbolts*.
What does this signify? There are several theories, the most popular of which speculates that Thunderbolts* is actually going to be a Dark Avengers movie. Kevin Feige did address the title change during CinemaCon last month, but said we'd have to wait until the film was in theaters to find out what it means.

The Walking Dead will never die. The massively popular horror drama based on Robert Kirkman’s acclaimed comic series ended in 2022, but it lives on after death in your Netflix queue, where all 11 seasons are available to stream. The Walking Dead is set in a contemporary postapocalyptic America where an unexplainable virus has turned most people into undead, flesh-hungry monsters. For nine seasons, courageous but brutal former sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) leads an ever-changing group of survivors as they try to stay alive long enough to build a better future. In the series’ final years, his family and friends try to carry out his vision in his absence.

While Atlanta has become a hotspot for filming thanks to significant tax incentives, it’s still a bit of a novelty whenever a film or TV show actually uses the city as its setting rather than, say, try to pass off the High Museum of Art as the British Museum. Even shows famous for being set there, like Atlanta and The Walking Dead, left the confines of the city eventually, not to mention making a somewhat generous interpretation of locales.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan and insects go a long way. Starting with Supernatural, the very 8th episode of the first season focuses on bugs and only those. So much so that the episode was even named after them. While the actor was not involved in the particular episode, the entire ongoing theme of the season was for the brothers to find their father, that is, John Winchester.

For his role in The Walking Dead: Dead City, the actor went above and beyond to get into character. So much so that he could easily be compared to Indiana Jones himself. While both have contrasting environments they developed from, there is one thing that ties them together, their dedication to get over their fears.

The saying ‘success comes to those who wait’ is relevant for many celebrities in Hollywood who have ridden the wave of failure to achieve stardom. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an actor whose career followed a similar path. While the star was the toast of the town on television in the 2000s with shows like The Walking Dead and Supernatural to his credit, his journey to the big leagues wasn’t easy.

The Walking Dead (Twd), an AMC series, is full of gory, outrageous moments that viewers will probably remember for years to come. There has never been a shortage of mayhem on the long-running zombie series, thanks to Robert Kirkman’s vicious characters, the walkers, and all the societal and personal drama. And Norman Reedus, who played the role of Daryl Dixon, knows a thing or two about mayhem.
Reedus’ character, a skilled tracker from the South who lives in his older brother Merle’s (Michael Rooker) shadow, was first introduced in the first season. As fans grew to love him and his go-to weapon, a crossbow, he would go on to become one of the most beloved characters on the show.

Similar to other Twd characters, Daryl has had a few moments throughout the show where some viewers have winced or turned away.

Our collective zombie obsession began long before The Walking Dead premiered (although it certainly helped). In fact, it’s still going strong to this day, with creators bringing new life to stories of the undead. Zombies can serve as metaphors for our broken society or as catalysts for bringing humanity together. Sometimes they’re even kind of funny, in all their bloody, snarling glory. No matter what, zombie stories are always entertaining.
Here, we highlight some zombie TV shows and movies that are worth checking out. These are alternately bleak, hilarious and thrilling watches, meaning there’s a little something for every kind of zombie fan.

Season 6 of the post-apocalyptic drama The Walking Dead introduced a new character Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The character is introduced in what has been considered to be one of the most brutal moments in the whole series. However, despite Negan’s antagonistic traits, the 58-year-old does not perceive his character as a villain.

The Walking Dead universe is gradually becoming an ever-expanding franchise with character-led spin-offs and sequels. But why should that mean fans can’t relive the original show over and over again? Taking back to the particularly earliest era of the AMC horror drama, when Jon Bernthal’s Shane Walsh was still alive, fans appear to celebrate the character’s popularity and legacy.

The Walking Dead started with the story of Rick Grimes played by Andrew Lincoln. As the story progressed, after 8 seasons leading the show, Lincoln said goodbye and made his exit in season 9 of the post-apocalyptic horror series. But that wasn’t the end of the story for either Rick Grimes or Andrew Lincoln. The star was preparing to join the cast of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Lived.

It is not every day that one gets to witness the marvel of a universe getting built from the ground up and living to see its completion. The creator of The Walking Dead comics, Robert Kirkman may be a man of great imagination and invaluable talent but even legends like him often run into a roadblock in their creative journey. The resulting product often ends in a cul-de-sac that in hindsight looks as bleak as rain in the winters.

However, for Kirkman, the stars and moons aligned perfectly to ensure he fulfilled his destiny. So even though the comic genius served up a dose of X-Files-inspired drama along with his undead creation, in the end, it was his original vision that persevered and spawned a universe that is yet to die down in critical acclaim and fan frenzy.

AMC Networks’ plans to submit the zombie spinoff “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” as a limited series for the Emmys have been killed.
The cable network had announced plans to submit the six-episode spinoff, created by Scott M. During the second episode shoot, a sequence involved handcuffing Michael Rooker‘s character Merle Dixon to the roof of a building in the middle of zombie-infested Atlanta.

Right from the get-go, Stranger Things captivated its audience entirely. Much like Vecna, the series has enchanted its fans, ensuring they return whenever they are in need of some spine-tingling entertainment. The sci-fi horror drama is nearing its conclusion, with the highly anticipated fifth and final season set to debut on Netflix next year.

And if the reports are true, Stranger Things season 5 is bringing a renowned filmmaker out of “retirement” – Frank Darabont. If you didn’t already know, the man is responsible for helming one of the finest films in Hollywood, The Shawshank Redemption. Having him direct a few episodes of Stranger Things would be a move in the show’s favor. However, his fans don’t seem too excited about this alleged job.

Known for his role as Carl Grimes on “The Walking Dead,” Chandler Riggs is back this month in the brand new fan film The Spider, which just shattered 1 million views on YouTube.
It’s not hard to see why, as the 9-minute short imagines Spider-Man as a Cronenbergian body horror movie! You can watch The Spider down below to join the million+ other viewers.
Chandler Riggs plays a new version of Peter Parker in the short from writer/director Andy Chen, and his origin story is much the same as we’ve seen before. Peter gets bitten by a spider, and he starts to realize that he’s gained some pretty wild super-powers as a result.
The Spider starts off innocently enough, with Riggs’s Peter Parker taking to the skies like Toby Maguire and Tom Holland before him. But it’s not long before things, well, take a turn…...

Carol Peletier, played by Melissa McBride, is arguably the most riveting character in The Walking Dead franchise.
Calculating and cold-hearted at times but comforting when she needs to be, Carol walks the line between hero and anti-hero, never once failing to bring pathos to her character.
Imagine the intrigue of fans when AMC Networks announced that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2 will be subtitled "The Book of Carol."
Hmm. We've got to do something about that title.
What does "The Book of Carol" mean, anyway? Is it a biblical allusion like The Book of Enoch or The Book of Eli?
Or is "The Book of Carol" in reference to a book Carol is writing during her time away from the original Grimes clan, perhaps a book of poetry inspired by non-confrontational walkers?
Carol's presence on The Walking Dead, while mesmerizing, is not exactly a strong narrative pull, at least as a singular protagonist.

From venue changes and the pandemic to political backlash and the threat of litigation, Salem Horror Fest founder and director Kay Lynch has never been one to back down. The festival’s seventh annual event, which kicked off last night at Salem’s Peabody Essex Museum, was further proof of her resilience.
After its original headliner, Hocus Pocus star Kathy Najimy, canceled with less than 48 hours notice, the festival’s entire opening night ceremony was restructured. On lieu of the original $50 ticket charge, the program was made free (with the option to make a donation), costing the festival an untold amount of money.
But the show must go on — and it did so in spectacular fashion with horror icon Linnea Quigley sitting down for a live interview, while the Hocus Pocus screening was replaced by The People’s Joker, previously scheduled to be the festival’s closing film.
