This is the longest of the two documentaries on the Extended Cut DVD of Death Race, with a running time of 20 minutes(or 18, if you don't count the credits). It consists of interviews with cast and crew, clips of the film(ironically edited to a somewhat humorous effect) and behind the scenes footage. They cover how Statham got into that great shape(exercise and a diet that no one wants to be on), the tone and approach(and how it relates to the original, from '75), characters(huh, it seems they *did* put effort into that aspect... or thought they did) and production design(both in the way of sets and props, and, very importantly, the cars... and yes, there is a little bit of fan-service for those who value the vehicles above all else). It doesn't go into the plot very much, if at all, though on account of some of what they show, this can potentially spoil the flick itself, and I'd definitely suggest watching this after it. It's put together well, if it's off to a slow start(did Paul pace this, as well?). Everyone has something to say, and it tends to be informational and interesting. I recommend this to anyone who want to know more about the making of the '08 picture. 7/10
