BEST EPISODE OF THE SEASON

Really well acted. Titus and Madison really brought their A game.. The pacing of this episode was phenomenal. There was a couple of scenes that left me teary eyed. Some nice call backs to the original series were used . I love where this season is heading.

Holographic Honey ...

With Honey's trap sprung, Carl Rogers has no choice but to make a deal and is put into a safe house. The Russians become more than agitated that he has fallen off the grid and go all Russiany.

A strong story that closes one thread, while others begin to hot-up.

Russians at Their Worst

When Rogers makes a deal, we know that Honey isn't going to pull it off. It's funny that the Russians seem to have Carte Blanche when it comes to their movements. They are made to seem invincible. I suppose that's what Harry is about. Honey is now free to look to other things. Bosch is still pursuing the business with the late Vance whose former cohorts are sort of overplaying their hands. Once again, Maddie's police training seems a distraction. I look forward to Friday.

There is a lot to like.about Bosch: Legacy, despite the low budget, Welliver is superb. Maddie and Honey round out a fine trio of leads. Still, this episode had me chuckling. Chandler waltzes into the Russians' "secured" lot and has a good, long look around. The area is apparently unguarded, as she ends up in area where a modified cargo container is located. Even though the lawyer's corpse is in the container, there is no sign of guards. Chandler positions herself close by as Rogers arrives, followed closely by the Russians. They do their dirty work and exit, leaving the container unlocked and unguarded. Chandler takes a peek inside before leaving the fenced in lot undetected.

Ludicrous but entertaining.

I must add that it has been good to see William Devane (Rolling Thunder, The Missiles of October, 24). A highlight of the episode is the unexpected appearance of John Savage (Deer Hunter, Inside Moves). Good fun, even when a ton of disbelief must be suspended.
