To the reviewer who complained about a continuity error, stating that Jane could drive the Lambo blindfolded but couldn't do the same with Van Pelt during an earlier episode: here, he's doing it for fun and to show off a bit. In the earlier episode, he and Van Pelt were being SHOT AT the whole time.

In the showroom of expensive cars, the saleswoman Liselle Douglas is found dead in the trunk of a Bentley. Lisbon, Patrick Jane and the CBI agents are assigned to investigate the case and soon Patrick realizes the competition promoted among the shark salesmen by their boss. Patrick and Lisbon also interview the wealthy clients Walter Mashburne and Noah Landau, and Liselle's mate, the musician Jeff Sparhawk. When the agents receive Liselle's autopsy report, they learn that she was hit by a car. Meanwhile, Patrick tries to prove his ability to Mashburne.
"Redline" is another funny episode of "The Mentalist". Patrick driving blindfolded and destroying the yellow Lamborghini is hilarious. My vote is eight.

Great episode. I love whenever Walter Mashburn makes an appearance. But there's a continuity error in this episode. Back in episode 1x16 Bloodshot, Jane is temporarily blinded from an explosion and tries to drive with Van Pelt towards the end. He fails miserably and hits everything. Now in this episode he is driving blindfolded using Masburm as a guide and has no problem driving around the parking lot. Why couldn't he use this ability in Episide 1x16??
