With the release of the new Disney hand-drawn animated film, the latest in five years (last being Home on the Range), this documentary celebrates both the release and the Disney animation world. Hosted by Ugly Betty's Vanessa Williams (who also sang Colors of the Wind for Pocahontas), this documentary showed some of the making of the new film, The Princess and the Frog, as well as what makes a great Disney film, from the animation itself, the story, the characters - good and bad, the messages, the humour and the songs. With clips from all your favourites, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Dumbo, Peter Pan, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King and many more. With contributions from Kristin Chenoweth, Ron Clements, Jamie Lee Curtis, Miley Cyrus, Whoopi Goldberg, Crash's Terrence Howard, Anjelica Huston, Sir Elton John, Earvin 'Magic' Johnson, John Lasseter, John Musker, Ne-Yo, Dreamgirls' Anika Noni Rose, Dick Van Dyke, Sigourney Weaver, Betty White and Serena Williams. Very good!
