Sex & Nudity

  • Reference to testosterone
  • N mentions he has a crush on V in an episode.
  • A scene in Season 1 Episode 4 involves two people walking alone and one of them asking if 'they need to sneak out this far to makeout'. Nothing is shown and is said for laughs.
  • The characters don't wear any pants, nothing is seen (they're robots so they don't need to and everything's alright with that).
  • In Episode 6, Uzi & N start holding hands while walking and they both start sweating.

Violence & Gore

  • Frequent Scenes of Robots beheading other robots, robot gore included
  • Frequent stylized robotic violence and gore. Some violence for example for decapitations, robots that are impaled, etc.
  • Most of the graphic violence is offscreen with over-the-top blood spurts, but in episodes like "Cabin Fever" and "Dead End", the violence can be brief but very graphic. (Even though the violence is "morally" reduced due to the robots having black blood.)
  • Over-the-top robot implosions are present in almost every episode. Most of them are brief, other are graphic.
  • Dismemberment and extremely mutilated robot corpses and organs are present in almost every episode. This can range from piles of dead, dismembered robots (Which is somewhat reduced due to the series' dark atmosphere, which hides most of the graphical gore) to sudden beheadings, dismemberment, disemboweling, and more.
  • Robots die in almost every way possible. They are torn apart horizontally with organs falling out (most of the times brief). Decapitation with gore detail, blown up with body parts flying everywhere, dismemberment, stabbing, head getting crushed or shot at point-blank, etcetera.
  • The drones have no blood. Instead, they have oil, and bleed oil. In certain episodes, human blood, gore, and dismemberment are shown graphically.
  • In the episode 7, there's a flashback scene where the dissasembly drones are eating the human corpses.

Profanity

  • The words "badass", "damn", "freaking", and "hell" are used.
  • In episode 2, there is a whiteboard in the background with the mention of the word "ass" written on it.
  • The spanish dub has more profanity, including explicit profanity like "Jódete" (Fuck you).
  • Language are mild overall.
  • There is speculation that a reference to "You sonuva B*tch" is written on the wall.
  • In the pilot episode, during Uzi's presentation, the source for one of the photos she includes says, "Photo cred: some dead af dude lol."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In the intro a female holds a robot baby and the male near the female smokes with a pipe
  • Episode three features a teacher drinking alcohol or alcohol-like substance from a flask during prom.
  • Episode 5 includes Uzi drinking a carton, the contents inside are unknown to be oil or alcohol.
  • It's explicitly shown that magnets work like various drugs when drones hold them to their head. One scene is tame by using the magnets as hospital sedatives, while in another scene, a drone is "high" and is constantly holding a magnet near their head.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The murder drones' designs might disturb young viewers.
  • The entire first episode and fourth is very suspenseful.
  • Episode 2 and 5 include camera drones which are reminiscent of GLaDOS from Portal. These might scare young audiences.
  • Violent, intense and dramatic combat scenes are present in almost all episodes.
  • Whenever a specific character makes an appearance, it takes the form of some eldritch horror, ranging from metal centipedes with fleshy cameras to small, broken drones controlling a rotting human corpse.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • There is a bit of violence for instance when 4 worker drones get killed with a rocket launcher, a head being cut off, and a worker drone getting cut in half. There is only a little bit of blood and the blood is black and is most likely oil.
  • Extreme violence and gore is seen in episode 2, in which the father gets snapped in half and blood is shown ever with a brutal screaming noise.
  • In the episode "The Promening" during the climax, many robots are crushed, smashed, and killed. Though it is mostly blurry and far away when it happens. (Only black blood spurts, some gore.)
  • "Cabin Fever" is by far one of the most violent episodes. One character is seen to act in an uncontrollable cannibalistic way and kills, disembowels, and eats parts of alive robots. This is mostly offscreen, but when it isnt, it is brief but graphic.
  • There is lots of blood and gore in episode 7, with limbs being cut off, and a beheading of one of the characters taking place.
  • There's a scene in which a humans dead corpse is used as a host for the Absolute Solver.

Profanity

  • In episode 7, after N gets separated from Uzi and Tessa, his screen says, "SYS STATUS: KNOCKED TF OUT . . . \"
  • In the pilot episode, Uzi appears to flip J off before knocking her out though it is only shown briefly.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main character's father leaves her for dead even though he was given a weapon to defend her with.
  • The (possible) death of V on the end of episode 6 can be saddening to some.
