Surprisingly Addicting

The show follows five lesbians that live in Los Angeles and is on Showtime. Each are in different parts of their lives, engaged, in a relationship, single, and drama like life. All of the lesbians are so pretty and sincere. It just follows them in all their drama and glory.

It's my guilty pleasure… although I've watched The L Word, I find the format of this show very pleasant for an reality show (I normally do not care for reality show). It's funny, sincere, and dramatic… everything you would want from a reality show. Even as a straight girl, all of the girls are super attractive and hot, personality wise and looks. I think my favorite is Mikey, Tracy, and Nikki. But there is something for everyone!

My Review. Another Lesbian.

Hello all, My name is Talia. I have been watching the show since it was first aired. I was very interested in the show "The L Word" because it helped me see and determine that things I like and things I know little about are ohkay, and it actually taught me more. Then the show "The Real L Word" came out... I was even more intrigued to watch it because these were real Lesbians living their lives. I was able to relate a lot to some of the characters. I am a work aholic and I have a partner who does not really understand that. Then I got laid off and have been struggling since and now she uses it to her advantage. So things have been rough. And we are young so I relate to the show. Mikey and Raquel. And then there is Romi and Kelsey. Whom I also relate too. Romi being the bread winner and Kelsey being the Mooch who doesn't have a job. That's exactly how it was/is with my partner and I. Because of Romi I see that there is no need to have this negative energy in my life and yet it was hard for her to see Kelsey go. As it is for me. You guys have had a huge impact on my life. So thank you. (: Nikki and Jill as well as, Kaci and Cory, I really admire the four of you. I really do.

This show is 100% amazing and always helps me to see that I am not the only one going through a certain situation. So thank you.

I can't wait for season 3. Yay! (; ~A huge fan, Talia Baglo!

Very materialistic

I didn't even watch all the episodes of the first season.

Those women don't show a glimpse of wit, distanciation, humor, civic sense, culture, whatever : they seem to have no soul. They care about their own personal lives, frankly a bit bluntly.

And despite the good appearance they put on TV, you can sense they are ready for brutal insults, unfriendly behavior, and total lack of remorse in their real real life. Self-assertive, certainly, noble, not a bit.

The only one that seemed to me a good person was the one who sacrificed her private life to take care of the THREE children of another couple. And I felt sorry for her. But I would say the same of a straight couple : except when one of the parents is dead, it's not right to become the unpaid nanny like that.

Sad detail, the fat girl conveniently relegated to the role of the best friend who gives advice, but not allowed to talk about her own issues.

If you had the time to make statistics, you would probably find that the most screen time is attributed to the richest women.

Meh...
