At one point, Woozy cautions Plastic Man to control himself and refrain from stealing the valuable artwork in the museum. This is a role reversal from their previous comic-book relationship. In the comics, it was Woozy Winks who was a former pickpocket and prone to recidivism while Plastic Man had to keep him in check.
In this story, Plastic Man is married to Ramona with an infant son, "Baby". He was also married with a child in Plastic Man (1979). In that series, his wife was Penny and son was "Baby Plas". While Baby Plas remains almost unchanged, Ramona from this story is markedly different from Penny in the previous series. Penny was blonde and spoke with a southern-belle accent. Ramona is a redhead with a Brooklyn accent.
Plastic Man swears in Woozy Winks as his sidekick. In the comics, Woozy has been Plastic Man's sidekick since his debut in Police Comics #13 which was released in 1942.
