(2010) Hunt to Kill
ACTION THRILLER
It has sheriff, Jim Rhodes (Steve Austin) losing his partner, Lee Davis (Eric Roberts) at a gun battle of a secret meth lab in a portable. He then takes some time off to mend his broken relationship with his troubled daughter, Kim Rhodes (Marie Avgeropoulos) whose just receive a phone call from the town's sheriff station to come and pick her up, as she was caught stealing. And by the time he comes to the small town station to pick her up, he then encounters five criminals led by cold blooded killer, Banks (Gil Bellows) crashing into the local police station in search for a hiker or a tracker as a guide, for the purpose of retrieving a bagful of money from a guy name Lawson (Michael Hogan) who had stolen from them, and has escaped through the forest. With Banks as the ringleader, the other four members also include, Crab, Dominika, Jensen and Geary. Topping it off with a chase by ATVs and a duel in an empty factory.
A few things, why would anyone go to a sheriffs station in search for a hiker and tracker guide? That is just nonsense. Some of the other things that did not make much sense, is the fact that after the Steve Austin character retrieves a crossbow from the trees, how come he doesn't retrieve the other bags from the other bad guys he had killed? The only weapons he uses was the ones he made himself like the arrows for his crossbow and the spears! What happened to their knives and other assortments? It is like, at one moment the bad guys were fully armed to the - and then, the next moment as soon as each one of them are killed they did not have any weapons on them anymore. And I do not get the deal with the watch the Eric Roberts character gave him at the opening, and then retrieving it. Eric Robert's part was so minuscule it 's hardly even worth mentioning.
