Great Message
mkb12319 August 2010
How refreshing to see a movie that was both entertaining and inspirational. All the characters seemed genuine and were believable. It delivered a powerful message without being too "preachy". I thought the writing was clever and the humor handled well by the actors. The characters of the son and daughter were delightfully played by two young actors who seemed totally authentic. And it was a treat to see well-known Cowboy Poet Woody Woodruff in his role as the Sunday School teacher. The music in the film was creative and provided a good background to the story. Overall, a nice film appropriate for all ages of viewers.

Not too bad

I had the chance to view the film today at a free showing at a church, and thought I would give my review, being a Christian filmmaker myself.

There were about 20 people at the church I saw this at, and they generally seemed to enjoy the picture.

I liked the story and thought it was relevant to today's world. The audio, acting, and camera work were good, but reminded me of one of those made for TV Disney movies. The music was good as well, and I really enjoyed the soundtrack.

If you're looking for your typical Christian family film, this is one to see! If you're looking for something a little more edgy, probably not the best choice.
