Enjoyable But Flawed

The story was interesting, and the acting was okay. I think the details of the story could have been fleshed out more to really sell it. Like details of the cult.

You can tell its a low budget film, but the overall quality is decent enough. Like there's no problems with sound quality or anything like that. I think they could have had some more tense moments, and less of the slower burn relationship stuff. Since it does start off pretty sluggish. Like let in more of the creepy stuff and have a build up.

I enjoyed it, I'm probably not going to remember it in the future, because I don't think it leaves and impression. But it wasn't awful.

An Entirely Forgettable Experience.

This is what I would classify as a homemade horror.

A horror film with an extremely low budget, mediocre acting, and virtually no special effects.

So...there's not much to expect out of it.

The story centers around a couple, who inherit a house left to the man by his mother.

Who seems to have killed herself as part of some sort of cult ritual.

And targeted his wife, as a ghost- so as to get back at him for being born- after she finds a relic that used to belong to her.

Low budget aside...the plot is really poorly constructed.

With terrible dialogue.

So it's really hard to be engaged by it.

Making it kind of hard to sit through.

And entirely forgettable, if you managed to get that far.

Do yourself a favour and pass this one by.

It's just not worth the time you'd have to invest to sit through it.

1.5 out of 10.
