It's nothing truly outstanding in terms of Sunny quality, but it's a solid episode and much more in line with the absurdity of the past 14 seasons. Dee's subplot was a way less interesting than the rest of the gang's with the odd CG monkey, but that side of the story was really great. In general, the gang needs to venture more outside of Paddy's this season though and I hope the Ireland story will let that happen.

I think this ep is what always sunny has always been about , if you look back on the great season like 2,3,4 5 and 6 they all had this type of clever writing even if it's stupid humor it works with how they wrote it in. This should be rated higher given they all in there 40s with miles of hilarious content under them.
They're back

I've been immensely disappointed with recent episodes of It's Always Sunny, but this episode was more like the old days.
It was a genuinely inventive plot, NOT based on modern politics, but just an actual new story, and it was fun. And it was mainly the guys having good banter and getting drunk. Dee was having her own side plot, in which she was a terrible person and almost Dennis-like in her selfishness.
Then it all resolved to leave me excited about the next episode. That's basically all I want. It made me laugh, and the dialogue felt natural and unforced.

First time i felt like i had to leave a review on a sunny episode. Truly feels like an episode from the golden days, had me cackling like i was rewatching a classic!!
First of all, this is some of kaitlin olson's best acting on this show, her stint as acting coach was hilarious yet unsettling, in the best possible way? The monkey business was very fresh, and the little things like the boys arguing about vacation destinations leaves me very hopeful about the rest of this season.
I was worried they would heavily rely on current events like they did with prior recent seasons, but this episode was truly something original, like it could have been on season 7 or something. It had me on my ass!!! Definitely ending up on my list of favorite episodes this show has to offer.
SO GOOD!!!!!!

This episode had me laughing a lot. The monkey was hilarious. Funniest lines for me were "Monkeys don't have jobs anymore because of these snowflakes" and "Go where, purple?! That's not a place!" Oh and Frank has a really funny line about the monkey towards the end. Monkey beer!! Hahahaha.
Really good episode.
Really good episode.
Best episode by a mile, in a pretty disappointing start to the season

This is the first ep this season that really felt like Always Sunny. There were glimpses of classic "Sunny" in the first two eps, but the roller rink episode just annoys me the more I think about it.
This episode however, nails the characters, motivations and chemistry. The scenes of the guys at the bar writing down colours instead of locations is hilarious, and the more frustrated Dennis becomes, the funnier it gets. The CG monkey initially annoyed me, but they use it appropriately and didn't over-do it, some of the funniest gags in the ep happen just from having the monkey's arm deliver a beer from just out-of-frame to the guys. The drunken acting from these guys is fantastic and nuanced in a way other comedic shows often lazily overlook.
Dee's part is also hilarious. We've never seen her in this much of a position of power before, so when she goes off the rails and constantly abuses and gaslights her actors, it's incredibly satisfying. It works perfectly, where the roller rink ep just insulted her character. The scene with Kiki was amazing and Olsen brought it big-time.
Funniest episode this season by far. I was a bit depressed from the first 3 eps of season 15, but "the Gang Replaces Dee with a Monkey" has given me hope that they can really nail the rest of the season. In fairness though, I think Sunny episodes are always funnier on second viewing.

Warning: Spoilers
You either let cancel culture win and throw in the towel, or you shand up for yourself and stay true to who you are. Instead, this show has turned into the most boring, blah, version of itself, making sure it's the least offensive thing on tv. It's everything it used to hate, and I wish they would of just called it quits.
There's some chuckles here and there, and eps 3 & 4 are a million time better than the virtue signaling woke-fest the first two were, but it's still just boring... and they really should of just went out with a bang after Dennis left to take care of his kid at the end of season 12. What a disappointment....
