I have some connection to this film, since I come from an Ashkenazi family and my grandparents were involved in anti-government groups in Argentina during the Dirty War. Although I saw it in a Jewish film festival, I don't think it made an effort to emphasize the characters' Jewish heritage.
This film portrayed the tragedy and sense of doom during that time, surely felt today in countries like Syria. After the movie ended, it took the audience some time to get up. I could tell it was due to the weight of the movie.
Superbly acted, very plausible, and extremely powerful. I'm rating it 10 out of 10 because I can't see a way for it to have been any better.
