It was very interesting to see the plot and "ending" between Burgess and Ruzek around Makayla. I know it is unrealistic to think that an arrangement between 2 friends to parent one kid would be perfect and go smoothly, but I think it could work, especially between two people like Kim and Adam, who is the most loyal person in the world. Watching the case evolve with their own little drama, was good. Predictable case, but it worked with the storyline. However, that ending is something Dick Wolf's shows must stop! Yes, adoption is messy and hard in reality, but it is also something that works out in many situations, an those storylines where they just lose the kids to the biological family, have to stop, since they portray it as a lore common scenario in reality that it is. People DO adopt and have permanent families, they make arrangements and make it work, but they don't lose their kids every time. Kim has legally adopted Makayla, she isn't fostering anymore. Hate that! Also, it makes very predictable how the storyline is going to go from now on.

The case was good.. but predictable.. it is always the same.. when they talk to potential witnesses they always show a bunch of people, one becomes the obvious but then he is not.. team looks for other susprects and surprise, surprise, one of the previous suspects was the one who actually did the murder, kidnapping etc..
but adam with the little girl.. lol, imagine it were the other way around how triggered she would have been... but usually on shows, when it is a guy getting the cold shoulder like that, he flips, girls acts like the victim and he ends up being the insecure, controling etc.. at least the show took the time to portray kim treating adam badly and then having to apologize.. and then needing him at the end when the little gitrls family showed up looking to get custody of her.

Glad that they had in the finally get an episode. But not what I wanted. Over in Kim there still hanging in there after nearly losing her life to the now deceased Roy Walton and still not knowing about it
As she now can lose custody of the daughter that Adam is technically raising with her. Adam and Kim realize that someone in her daughter's life on camera came to her.
It will be an arc there to come over fighting child custody. Well Upstead as in Jay and Haley married or eloped in last fall finale after being cleared it seems by the FBI after Jay manipulated with help form Hank.
But wished now Kim will find out and that could affect her and Haley's friendship and partnership.

We need some more Kevin and kim dynamics! We got to seem then first 6 seasons as best friends and their energy with one another was fun, loving, and trusting. Out of all the characters we knew those two had a un breakable bond. We need that friendship back and consistent.

I was a bit underwhelmed by this ep and i binge watched season 1 over the weekend. Boy, what a difference! This show has lost it's fire and seems to be just going through the motions now. But that doesn't make it a bad show, it's still watchable, hence the rating. But if you've never watched it from the start then I suggest you do so.

This JOKE that is called kim burges needs to stop !!! Why do the writers hate Ruzek so much, doesn't he have any self esteem?? She is using him for so long if this keeps going i'l ldrop the show i cann't take it anymore mature her or drop her she ain't Chuck Norris and she has zero charisma whatsoever!!!

Tonight's episode Adam was brutal to a man who had paid his debt to society, but disclosed his name to the parents, the father then put posters up in the neighborhood and painted his house ruining the man's life in the neighborhood he lived in?
