- Liz becomes upset when her ex-boyfriend Floyd returns to New York to try and get married on the Today Show, Jenna and Tracy begin having erotic dreams about Kenneth, and Jack and Danny start a prank war with the writers.
- Liz reevaluates her feelings for an old flame, Floyd, when he returns with big news, and Jack Donaghy teaches Danny Baker the finer points of pranks after the TGS writers play a trick on him. Jenna Maroney and Tracy Jordan see Kenneth Parcell in a disturbing new light after they spend a very long day listening to him tell stories about his childhood.—NBC Publicity
- Open with Liz telling Jenna about a breakfast date she has coming up with a guy she found on the Kraft Foods website. Kenneth tells Liz that her ex Floyd (Jason Sudeikis) called for her.
Pete tells the writers that Danny has been nominated for a Candian Grammy for the psyche-up song he recorded for Ottawa Senators games. There will also be a profile of Danny in the New York Times. The writers are sick of Danny's positive energy and want to find a way to mess with him. They decide to come up with a fake article and place it in NBC's press packet.
Pete asks Kenneth to occupy Tracy and Jenna so they don't find out about Danny's Times' profile. The plan is for them to spend 12 hours in the makeup room getting plaster molds made of their faces and for Kenneth to sit in there and tell them his stories.
Liz calls Floyd. He's in New York for a couple days and is excited to see her. They agree to meet for dinner the following night.
Danny comes to Jack concerned about all the errors in the New York Times article. Quickly realizing the Times do not have a writer named "Seymour Nips," Jack tells them the nerds have pranked him. They must be jealous of Danny being so handsome. As a fellow handsome man, Jack decides to help Danny get them back. Recalling his days of a Princeton secret society, Jack agrees to form a new team named after the most handsome animal: the Silver Panthers.
Liz tells the staff she's allowing herself to be excited about re-connecting with Floyd. Frank points to the TV and Liz sees that Floyd is on The Today Show with his fiancé trying to win a contest to have their wedding on the show.
Kenneth tells Tracy and Jenna story after story. They are unable to move from their chairs with the masks coving their faces.
Liz tells Jack she's upset that Floyd is getting married, particularly because it is going to take place right outside her window. She's wants to prevent him from winning the contest, but she tells Jack she will take the high road and simply asks him not to get married on the show. However, she is taking him to a restaurant where the fish gave her food poisoning on three separate occasions. She swears to Jack she's not planning to sabotage Floyd's chances to win the contest.
The writers see a report on television that there is a toxic gas leak on Rockefeller Center Plaza. Smoke begins to fill the room and Danny drops to the floor. The report then says the leak has created a "Cloverfield-type monster" that cannot detect the smell of human skin. Therefore anyone left in the building is advised to remove their clothing. The writers strip to their boxers, just as Jack brings in some of the TGS dancers to laugh at them. Danny gets off the floor and celebrates their successful prank with Frank. Jack leaves the room with a Latin phrase.
Kenneth has now moved to reading the full text of his autobiography.
The next morning Jenna tells Liz she has a graphic sex dream about Kenneth. Tracy comes in complaining about the same thing -- "glistening black and white skin, it looked like a close-up of a killer whale being born -- meaning that Kenneth must have entered their subconscious the previous day.
Toofer finds out online that Jack belonged to the Twig and Plums secret society. One of the rules of the society is that if anyone says "Twig and Plums" in front of a member he must find a way to leave the room. Cut to Frank busting in on Jack conducting a meeting with executives and saying "Twig and Plums." Jack immediately excuses himself for a "veterinary appointment."
During dinner Liz tells Floyd she saw him on the show. She asks him not to do it on The Today Show, but Floyd says fiancé Caitlin is an ab model and they want to use the wedding to get her some jobs in New York. Liz is clearly upset by this news and tells Floyd he should try the fish.
After more scary Kenmares, Jenna and Tracy decide they need to "Elm Street this," go to sleep and kill Kenneth in the dream.
Jack tries to yell at Frank about using the special phrase. Frank cuts him off with "Twig and Plums" and Jack excuses himself for an "intervention for my travel agent."
Floyd orders his third of salmon and seems to be drunk. Liz talks to the waiter and find out that recovering alcoholic Floyd has been getting the Jack Daniels glaze for the fish on the side and the alcohol hasn't been cooking off. Liz tells Floyd what happened. She's upset that he was willing to move to New York for someone else and he responds that Caitlin doesn't have weird relationship restriction (no weekday sex) or yell at him. Liz storms out as Floyd orders a round of salmon for the whole restaurant.
After attacking Kenneth in real life, Tracy and Jenna realize that they didn't have a dream about him the previous night. The spell must be broken.
The writers find a DVD on their door. It is Jack filming from Frank's mother's bedroom. He and Danny ran into her the night before and they basically threaten to film a sexual encounter with her if he doesn't back off the Twig and Plumbs things. "Pranksman," Frank says. "Stand down."
When Liz tells Jack what happened with Floyd he shows her that Floyd went on a drunken bender and is now embarrassing himself on The Today Show set.
Liz goes to Floyd and Caitlin and apologizes for what happened. She tells Caitlin that even while drunk Floyd had great things to say about her and his falling off the wagon was not cold feet. Caitlin takes Liz aside and tells that because of her great body she doesn't have very many female friends.
Liz tells Jack that she has agreed to do a reading at Floyd and Caitlin's wedding.
