Get this: Over the course of her nearly five-decade career, Catherine O’Hara has never won an Emmy for her acting. The comedy legend picked up an Emmy in 1982 for Sctv, but it was for writing. Could this be the year that O’Hara finally gets her due?
Assuming she gets nominated for the final season of Schitt’s Creek, and we certainly believe she deserves to, O’Hara’s list of rivals will likely look very different than it did last year. Three of 2019’s contenders — Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Natasha Lyonne and eventual winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge — are not in the running this time around.

After spending much of Dead to Me‘s inaugural season infatuated with (and occasionally stalking) her ex-fiancé Steve, Linda Cardellini’s seemingly heterosexual Judy falls for a female chef (played by Natalie Morales) in Season 2 and no one — not even her blunt best frenemy Jen (Christina Applegate) — has an opinion about it. And that, according to series creator Liz Feldman, was the whole point.
“The [uneventful way we] played the [Judy/Michelle] relationship was incredibly deliberate and purposeful,” the Ep explains to TVLine. “As a gay woman who has been writing a really long time, I’ve had the opportunity to tell the ‘coming out story.

Kimmy Schmidt is back… but what she does next is up to you.
The Netflix comedy returns with an all-new interactive special, Kimmy Vs. the Reverend, where you get to choose what Kimmy and her friends do next, a la Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. We’ve clicked through just about every possible scenario (we think), and it’s a fun, goofy ride; most of the choices just lead to mini detours, rather than full-blown alternate stories, but there are lots of delightful Easter eggs tucked away in there for those patient enough to go back and try every choice. Though we aren’t holding our breath for signs of Michelle or Aunt Becky, it looks like every other character in the Fuller House universe is RSVP-ing to the wedding event of the century.
Netflix has released the official trailer for the sitcom’s final nine episodes, which follow D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) as they attempt to plan a triple She-Wolf wedding.

When it comes to competing on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” the one catch phrase no queen wants to hear is “sashay away.” Those two words are the definitive response from series host and head judge RuPaul Charles that the time has come for you to leave the competition. For some, not hearing those words was a second chance in the competition–despite falling in the bottom two and lip synching for their lives they were spared in a surprise non-elimination week.
See‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ 12 episode 4 recap: The writing is on the ‘Balls to the Wall’ for one unlucky queen
And then there are others that heard those words not because they lost the Lsfyl showdown, but because of entirely different circumstances. Like the time Eureka sustained a knee injury in season 9 and had to leave the competition on doctor’s orders or the week BenDeLaCreme decided to eliminate herself...

Talk about a sour feeling. After five episodes of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 12, it’s clear that one queen — and only one — is in the lead to win the entire thing: Sherry Pie. The only problem? This yummy-named contestant has been disqualified from VH1’s reality TV show because of events that happened off-camera; she admitted to being a catfisher who engaged in sexual misconduct.
The network’s official statement reads: “In light of recent developments and Sherry Pie’s statement, Sherry Pie has been disqualified from ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race.’ Out of respect for the hard work of the other queens, VH1 will air the season as planned. Sherry Pie will not appear in the grand finale scheduled to be filmed later this spring.”

There’s no denying that Sherry Pie was a force to be reckoned with on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The fashion ball is back on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 12 Episode 4!
Are you surprised? They bring it to you on the runway every season.
Thirty-six outfits strutting the stage with plenty of personalities and a flair for fashion. A jam-packed hour to find out which queens can bring it ... and which ones should bring it back home. (Where's Heidi Klum when you need her?)
Before we jump into all the fashion-forward moments, we have to discuss the couch debrief. This is one of my favorite parts of any RuPaul's Drag Race episode.
The queens get to chat, debrief, and share their thoughts of the round before. We get a real and raw look into their mind after what happened and their motivation for the next stage.
Some queens fuel their fire while others continue to spiral after their previous missteps. The couch also foreshadows the future for the queens who steal the focus.

In the all-new tenth episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” on May 2, the lucky seven queens still competing on season 11 were given the chance to make magic. Actors Katherine Langford (“13 Reasons Why”) and Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin”) guest judged their efforts to pull off tricks. Which contestant came out on top and was chosen as the winner of episode 10 of season 11? And were Gold Derby’s predictions correct that Vanessa Vanjie Mateo would be eliminated this week?
In episode 9, Vanessa came perilously close to being bounced but Plastique Tiara went home instead. Both had to strut their stuff to the Fantasia Barrino hit “Hood Boy.” Texas toe-tapper Plastique counted some missteps among her moves. In the end, RuPaul Charles opted to throw a lifeline to L.A. lovely Vanessa.
Below, check out our minute-by-minute live blog recap of season 11 episode 10, titled “Dragracadabra'” to find out what happened Thursday night.

Wayne’s World director Penelope Spheeris has said farewell to Hollywood for good — but it wasn’t an easy decision.
The 73-year-old director opened up about leaving the industry in an interview with the A.V. Club in which she said, “there’s no forgiveness” in Hollywood.
“Women can’t make mistakes,” Spheeris said. “You can’t screw up when you’re a woman. One little mistake and you’re done.”
Spheeris is best known for her 1981 documentary The Decline of Western Civilization as well as for her 1992 film Wayne’s World which is her highest-grossing movie to date with $183.1 million at the box office.

According to Hollywood Reporter, we can add another name to the cauldron for the second season of FX’s American Horror Story. That would be Mrs. Channing Tatum herself, Jenna Dewan (Step Up, Balls To The Wall, The Playboy Club), who will pair with Maroon 5′s Adam Levine as “The Lovers.”
She joins a cast that already includes Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny, Chris Zylka, Adam Levine, Clea Duvall, Joseph Fiennes and Zachary Quinto. The Ryan Murphy horror anthology series comes back to TV in October.

Balls to the wall! That’s the only way to describe the madness that is the fourth season of Sons of Anarchy. There was so much mayhem to digest with last night’s episode that it was near impossible to not be left flabbergasted. Honestly, between Soa and The Walking Dead premiere, my heart has had about all it can take for the week. As we head into Episode 8, “Family Recipe,” the big question is if that was a branch or Juice’s neck we heard cracking as the Reaper overtook the screen, signifying that we’ll all have to wait a week to see what happened. Well, the answer is pretty apparent. If you look at the promo video for the next episode below, you can see Juice in it twice, apparently alive and well. If he does turn out to be Ok, I’ll be relieved, though his...

After a quick trip to New Orleans to visit hubby Channing Tatum for his birthday on the set of ‘21 Jump Street‘, Jenna Dewan-Tatum got back to work and tweeted a gorgeous sneak peek of today’s photo shoot with celebrity photographer Davis Factor.
The starlet has two films that will be premiering at the 2011 Newport Beach Film Festival over the next week, so fans will be able to check out her indie romantic comedy ‘Balls to the Wall‘ on Saturday, April 30, 2011 and her western ‘The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy‘ on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Jenna filmed the Penelope Spheeris-directed comedy ‘Balls to the Wall‘ in April 2010. The movie is about Ben Camelino, a struggling cartoonist who works as an I.T. guy at a boring, faceless corporation. He and Rachel (played by Jenna), his fiancé, want to get married as soon as possible.
