One thing I noticed, a lot of guns were displayed by various characters throughout this episode, but none of them were fired. All gunfire took place offscreen.
Not sure when this was "filmed", so I am not sure if this was due to recent real-life events, or maybe a budgetary decision.
However, there was plenty of action, despite the lack of gunfire, or even extended fight scenes. They even managed to make "Jin" sympathetic, and even useful.
This also was due to a higher level of writing, and I hope this continues.
One thing that I noted in the casting of Lindsay Pulsipher. When I saw her name in the credits, I immediately knew she would play one of the "heavies". Perhaps it is because she is seeking some thing different. She is probably best known as "Rollin"'s (Kelly Giddish) sister on Law & Order: SVU.
She did a good job in a limited role.
I also like the "surprise" ending for both bad guys.
