In the previous episode, Bernadette mentions to Penny and Amy that Howard does not have chest hair with the exception of one long hair. In this episode though, Howard is seen in red wrestling tights with a lot of chest hair.
When Penny and Sheldon are discussing Amy in the laundry room, Penny folds an orange shirt and places it in the hamper, she then starts to fold a gray shirt. When the camera moves back to Penny she places what appears to be the same orange shirt in the hamper again. The gray shirt is not seen again, but there was not enough time for her to have folded this one as well as another orange shirt.
In the neurobiology lab scene, in which Amy and Sheldon are discussing "distressing symptoms" that occurred the night before. Sheldon offers to record her information and create a chart to present a differential diagnosis of her symptoms. When Amy agrees, Sheldon picks up a pad and pen to write down what she says. As she speaks it can clearly be seen that Sheldon is not writing anything down and is merely hovering the pen just above the paper.
Eating in a laboratory violates all kinds of protocols which is out of character for Sheldon and Amy. Eating a sandwich with gloves worn to protect her from contaminants from the brain Amy is slicing makes even less sense. Anything that the gloves might have protected her hands from is now being transferred to the sandwich and ingested by Amy. You might as well not bother with the personal protective equipment in the first place.
Sheldon, a gerrnaphobe, would not eat shashimi, due to the potential for illness from raw fish.
Lab safety protocols dictate that you don't touch anything with rubber gloves that you are unwilling to contaminate with whatever the gloves are supposed to protect you from, in this instance Amy's sandwich and medical thermometer.
Also you are supposed to wear a hair net or tie up the hair if it is as long as Amy's to avoid contamination of the hair as well as any biological substance it might accidentally get dangled in.
