'One Plus One Equals Two (2022)' depicts the canonical first mission of Homelander, seeing him transform from a good-intentioned hero into the callously violent villain we all know and hate. The piece plays with audience expectation in a couple of interesting ways, even though its ending is pretty much a foregone conclusion. It's a brutal and well-paced insight into the main antagonist of 'The Boys (2019 -)' that features some enjoyable animation and solid voice acting. There isn't all that much to say about it, really. It's entertaining right the way through and culminates in a suitably unsettling way. It's one of the stronger entries in its series. 7/10.
