Sex & Nudity

  • Some talking about sexual education. (e.3)
  • In many cases Rex is talking about Dr. Holiday that she is looking good. He is also making some mild sexual references when they are together.
  • 2 or 3 kisses are not completed. One kissing scene. (e.36)
  • Shapes of female breasts are shown better than any other animated TV series for children. Though it is animated, nothing straight sexual.

Violence & Gore

  • In most of the episodes the action is non-stop. Several soldiers are punched and beaten by evos. Sword fights, gunfights, fistfights throughout the series.
  • When Rex fights against evos he uses various ways to defeat them.
  • Missiles are launched.
  • There is no gore.
  • In 'Leader of the Pack' some blood is visible in Van Kleiss' mouth. (e.7.) Pain is shown on the faces of the characters.

Profanity

  • Freakin' is said once in episode two ("no freakin' duh")
  • Some mild swear words like hell and damn are used infrequently
  • Dirty evo is said a few times. Freak is said once. (e.7)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The fights are intense and long.
  • Evos can be frightening sometimes.
  • During the dream of Rex we see a lot of strange and frightening creatures and we hear disturbing music.
  • The main villains can be disturbing (Van Kleiss, Hunter Cain, NoFace)
  • Action violence, difficult science themes and frightening scenes.
