- In many cases Rex is talking about Dr. Holiday that she is looking good. He is also making some mild sexual references when they are together.

- Shapes of female breasts are shown better than any other animated TV series for children. Though it is animated, nothing straight sexual.

- In most of the episodes the action is non-stop. Several soldiers are punched and beaten by evos. Sword fights, gunfights, fistfights throughout the series.
- When Rex fights against evos he uses various ways to defeat them.
- Missiles are launched.
- There is no gore.
- In 'Leader of the Pack' some blood is visible in Van Kleiss' mouth. (e.7.) Pain is shown on the faces of the characters.

- Freakin' is said once in episode two ("no freakin' duh")
- Some mild swear words like hell and damn are used infrequently

- The fights are intense and long.
- Evos can be frightening sometimes.
- During the dream of Rex we see a lot of strange and frightening creatures and we hear disturbing music.
- The main villains can be disturbing (Van Kleiss, Hunter Cain, NoFace)
- Action violence, difficult science themes and frightening scenes.
