When Hardison is attempting to show a picture of the client, a picture of Hardison, Parker, and Eliot from Halloween comes up. Parker is dressed as the Jodie Whittaker incarnation of the Doctor from Doctor Who (2005), and Hardison is wielding a replica sonic screwdriver and wearing a scarf similar to the Tom Baker incarnation (from the original Doctor Who (1963)), and putting a hat on Eliot's head similar to the one worn by Baker. Additionally, the client's name-- Pietr Volkov-- is a reference to a character (Piotr Volkov) from a Doctor Who spin-off novel, "The Tree of Life."
Parker deliberately mispronounces Tohd as "towhead", which is a term used to describe light blond-haired children, derived from the Middle Low German "touw" meaning flax or hemp (both light fibers), hence "flaxen-haired".
Harry Wilson states that he is in the process of redoing his basement, there are no basements in New Orleans due to the city being below sea level.
Dikran Tulaine has worked with both Dean Devlin and Noah Wyle in a previous Devlin production by way of The Librarian 3: The Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008).
In this episode, Hardison stands back and watches Elliot fight the security guards, similar to how he did in S1E1 of Leverage (The Nigerian Job).
