The return of my favorite theme

My favorite Walker theme is that no matter how bad things are or what you've done, there are people that support you.

It was done with so much love and heart this episode.

And that ending 😳.

"Where Do We Go From Here?"

Warning: Spoilers
An undoubtedly legit question that the writers must have asked themselves as they gave one major character a graceful exit (door open) and then needed to continue dealing with her loss through Cordell, James, and Trey.

Further, we have Stella facing graduation. And Liam deep in his shame from the fallout of his actions vis a vis a family enemy.

What a lot to account for, but the writing in this episode balanced it all without feeling unwieldy.

Further the show did so with an amazing sound track and visuals, too.

Every single scene worked to get viewers and characters to a place where we can start again--acknowledging the pain, while still moving forward.

Huge kudos to Coby Bell as Captain James, around whom this episode revolves. He's always been the man at the center of the Rangers, but we also see him caring & protecting his friends at large.

Amazing scenes between James & Trey (Jeff Pierre.)

Kudos also to Cordell (Jared Padalecki) and Liam (Keegan. Allen) for showing us the give and take of siblings who as adults have to toe the line ethically, but still also need to be there for each other above all.

Special moments beyond these plots?

Abilene (Molly Hagan) singing. And also taking in another stray waif.

Bret (Alex Landi) and Liam acknowledging they still love one another and are working it out.

Bocce ball with Cordi and Stella (Violet Brinson)

This is just an amazingly polished and full episode where the time moved so quickly you're amazed when it's over. Can't wait to see it again and savor it all.

No Lindsay Morgan - No Me

I looked up the episode before it aired and it was showing Lindsay Morgan as a primary Co - Star on IMDB - I kept waiting through the entire episode for her to make an appearance - she did not and when I went back and checked the opening credits - sure enough she wasn't listed

Actually the episode was pretty bad anyway - it was like a drunken soap opera and the plot was a month old and with no "Last time update " - I had no clue what was going on or why - which makes it easy to forget this show until Lindsay Morgan returns - but I won't waste time watching the show to see if she shows up again - I will just check the opening credits like I should have done thing time - Very Disappointing.

What's up with the character's stammer? Makes it hard to watch. Not a very strong character... Give the cowboy a backbone. So far I'm having trouble believing the storyline. Being a big fan of Supernatural, I was excited that J. P had a new series especially since I was a big fan of the original Walker. But this version is leaving me wanting a show of testosterone!
