In his opening monologue, Red mentions the accident he had last week, tells some jokes involving skunks and jackrabbits, and performs a pantomime of how his wife Georgia tried to avoid eating the box of chocolates he brought home for her. The first sketch features Clem Kadiddlehopper, a newly hired shoeshine boy, creating chaos in the barber shop when his proprietor is out to lunch. In the second skit, Freddie the Freeloader is caught in a springtime dream in which he images he is married.
