A very broad satire which pushes beyond parody to the frankly ridiculous. The mock- solemnity of the narrator set it off perfectly. A truly hilarious, enjoyable 11 minutes.

The director and writer, John Barnard, has a sense of humour that would be a great asset in making feature-length comedies, satires, parodies, or even dramas with a sarcastic tone. His odd viewpoint would be welcome in Canadian cinema. I hope he goes on to really establish himself as a screenwriter.
