Hub’s current lineup is dominated by animated shows, while Reed’s background is in primarily live-action programing. For the past three years, she was VP Original Series, overseeing live-action development for Disney Channel and Disney Xd where she developed Jessie,...

How could you not want to know more about a film festival where the acronym of it is Biff?!
We’ve just been sent the full line-up of movies that will be played at the third annual British Independent Film Festival which this year takes place 11th and 12th May. The festival is a great place to showcase new British talent and this year, the organisers (The Film Festival Guild) have arranged a fabulous line-up which includes three world premieres, which include Airborne (starring Mark Hamill), Jump which stars Glen Blackhall and Bashment which stars Ludvig Bonin.
We actually got to attend a couple of set visits for Airborne, both of which you can see here and here.
The event is set to take place around the UK with the fill location list below. Check it out and if you need more info, visit the official Festival website at www.

New comics available at your local comic-book retailer this week: The twisted marriage of Chandler and Lovecraft; Cold War nostalgia by a former master; Even more horror-crime; The kiddies will like it.
Fatale #4–As much as I’ve been liking this book, and as much as I like anything that writer Ed Brubaker and artist Sean Phillips do, together or solo, it wasn’t until last issue that this book really started banging on all cylinders for me. I’m not sure why exactly: very much in the same spirit as their other books, Criminal and Incognito, and featuring some of Phillips’ best art-work, Fatale has been anything but disappointing. Perhaps it’s because in issue 3, all the seemingly disparate plot elements really began to cohere. Also, we see our titular femme fatale do some really fatale shit, and the weird, mirror-glasses dudes (see image above) start to come into threatening play.
