Fun night in Hope Valley
dleible-7370918 April 2022
Love seeing the town come together for Hope Valley Days. A night of town comraderie and the romance between Lucas/Elizabeth keeps growing. Looks like there are other romances brewing but we will have to wait and see.

Best family show on Tv
facondra18 April 2022
WCTH is the best and only family show on Tv. The only show with out nudity, violence and obscene language. The cast, crew and writers do an awesome job keeping it real.

Terrible...reviewers must be paid by Hallmark.
iwsbull21 April 2022
I tuned in just to check in after a very lackluster first couple of eps...this show has gone to the dogs. It used to be heartwarming and somewhat fun and adventuresome. This is just ugh...who ARE these people?? I don't recognize where it's gone. Elizabeth is weird. The relationship between her and the beard guy is embarrassingly bad. I thought she had good chem with the new mountie but he's off the show now. The guy thats mayor was like a joke not long ago. Lee was fun but he's just floating around. Sad to say...this once delightful show seems to be lost.

Remembering how great Hope Valley is
kblip18 April 2022
This was an outstanding episode where many characters got to shine and share what makes them special. Loved the holiday themes and the sharing of the significance of Hannukah. Loved the interplay and subtle humor between lead characters.

What a joke
Sar-8359920 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
That Elizabeth finally noticed the plaque is one thing. But, the fact that she could equate it to anything having to do with her and Lucas was a joke. Did the writers not even watch season 6 and 7 of this show? Do they not even realize what had been previously written?

That plaque was a gift, made by Nathan's own hands. And it was meant to be a reminder for Lizzie to overcome her fears. And, it was connected to the storyline in Season 8, that she would overcome her fears of losing Nathan, and love a Mountie again. Which she didn't. She instead, took the easy way out, and the road more traveled, and picked the saloon owner.

Now, that she could equate this plaque with anything related to their story as a couple is just ridiculous. And insensitive. They said she picked Lucas for the longevity of the show, but how long can the ship float with these horrible storylines?

The storylines don't make any sense, are left dangling and unfinished. And most of what we want to see, we don't see onscreen (and it has to be explained later in interviews that only a small minority of the fanbase has access to). This ship has hit the iceberg of idiocy and is going down hard.

Refreshing Programing on When Calls The Heart
yankiecuz18 April 2022
Another refreshing evening with the characters and storyline of "When Calls The Heart." A TV show that honestly seems to have it all-laughter, hope, inspiration, with a touch of mystery and intrigue. Even after 8 seasons, it's still keeping me captivated!!

Are Lucas & Elizabeth moving closer to an engagement?? Have you ever thought about a Fall wedding...have you ever thought about a Spring wedding?? First time they have discussed marriage...Yahoo!!! Can hardly wait to see what is ahead in the coming episodes. Hope Valley Days was a great idea Mayor Hickam...so nice to see the town of Hope Valley sharing so many special moments. The writing continues to disappoint
Arnie-1300719 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I just don't get it. Two weeks ago Nathan was racing a horse against a motorcycle. Then last week he had PTSD and couldn't ride at all, Bill even disallowed Newton from service. And now he's back on Newton like nothing ever happened?

Do the writers not even talk between themselves? Do they not remember what they write from one episode to the next?

When did Nathan manage to get back on Newton? How did it happen? When did it happen? Why was this storyline left hanging without a conclusion onscreen, and how was it resolved? All that effort for the accident and story with Nathan and Newton, only for it to all amount to nothing? The writing this season is horrible.

And did Elizabeth say that Anna graduated? When did she graduate? Is the school year over? And we didn't see the end of year program and the graduation? That used to be a wonderful part of an episode every year! Why the writers didn't think to include it? Why is so much happening offscreen and we are not privy to it?

And what time of year is it anyway? Did Elizabeth not say that now its almost fall? So the school year is over? Everything about the writing this year is so confusing and so disjointed. Nobody seems to know which way is up. And we, the audience, can't make heads or tails of anything this season.

Please put some order to the chaos.

Done with this show
famyarn20 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The storylines are lacking and left hanging with no conclusion.

When did the Mountie ride his horse again? He was in a huge accident and that was a storyline for 6 episodes (his recovery and PTSD and his horse not cleared for duty). And now he's just suddenly riding again without any explanation? Do the writers even talk to each other?

And the sad part is that the best part of this episode is Elizabeth and Nathan. They still sparkle onscreen in every scene, even if they are just sitting in a car next to each other. When she's with the other guy, you throw up in your mouth a little bit. Why watch this anymore?

And, who can make heads of tails of the truth with this show with all the 10s that the Lucabeth fans keep posting. If we want better writing for this amazing, ensemble cast, we need to tell the writers, instead of settling for this mess. Why can't you all be honest? You can still love the show, but be honest and tell them about the lacking storylines. If you continue to fluff their feathers, it will never improve. The ridiculousness will continue. And it's saddest for the amazing actors and crew who have put their blood, sweat, and tears into this show.

Once Again WCTH Brings It!
cmwhite-9912418 April 2022
Still my favorite TV show to watch all week and even my husband looks forward to Sunday night. Hope Valley Days Part 1 encompassed everything that one expects from Hope Valley all wrapped up in one episode. Romance, Intrigue, Humor and such empathy and support for each other. Can't wait for HVD part 2!!

So reminiscent of the early days in Hope Valley
lindysue-0150618 April 2022
If you've been having nostalgia about the early days of WCTH, this episode is for you and you will love it! Mayor Hickam comes up with a great idea to celebrate the simple things of Hope Valley and for a week everyone is able to put aside their cares and enjoy one another and celebrate the closeness and camaraderie that makes Hope Valley wonderful! In addition, every main character had advancement in their storyline...some surprising things included! It's a don't miss episode that will make you eager to see part two of Hope Valley Days in the next episode!

Another great episode!
pma-6281418 April 2022
I love WCTH, and have watched every episode since the very first episode. This episode was wonderful and many holidays were celebrated with the townspeople of Hope Valley. My favorite part was at the end when Lucas asked Elizabeth if she ever considered a fall wedding and she asked him if he ever considered a spring wedding! I love how they mentioned this to each other, although there is no engagement YET, but hoping there will be one before the end of the season! This season is so very exciting, and I look forward to MUCH more, and longer, scenes with Lucas and Elizabeth!!!

amazing soap opera which shows amazing story telling talents
margaretyong-9454121 April 2022
This series is becoming a big joke, i have been following the series since s1, and i am amazed there are still so many rating this as a 10/10 saying it is the best show - are these people paid to rate the show as such or seriously???

The acting is so overdone for some of the actress and even actors. What is wrong?

1. No more community spirit - a story that keeps putting people down like Nathan, Lee(what job does he do? Does not show up good for Lee) - what a joke, people see this as a community spirit show? Nathan who protects the town is reduced to directing traffic

2. St LUCAS? What else can this man not do? Hahha....

3. The heroine has become a mean person, busy body but not really caring - does she ever work? Hahaha.....

4. Ensemble cast? Omg no no no - promos mostly show E&L.

5 moral values? To hurt people is good? Hahaha... incredible - definitely not a lot of moral values that i want to teach children hahaha... pls don't lead a man on for 3 seasons and dump him like a sack of potatoes, no wonder he has PTSD......

#departie for good.

CELEBRATE: FAITH...Joy in God in the midst of life's difficulties !!
bcheryl-3826118 April 2022
Love WCTH reminders in this episode that Joy and Hope are at the core of what I love about my viewing time spent in Hope Valley.... and that friendships and celebrating as a community are a must !! So thankful for talented actors, crew, writers and all who bring life such a wonderful TV show !!

A Perfect episode for Easter night... Mayor Mike's optimism, the grace shown through many relationships and especially loved the moments between Joseph & Minnie and their consistency of faith in God being our strength in all we go through !

It is over for me
carolinakanter19 April 2022
I tried to watch this season, I really hoped for good stories and I love many characters. But after episode 7 I am out. 19 episodes of hardly anything positive for one of themain characters is a bit too many. Moreover, what is the story that the writers tell? Everything is all over the place. And all these10 ratings reviews here are as over the top as most of the acting. So WCTH, this was it, after 8 5 seasons.

WCTH is better with each new episode!
jenniferroodal18 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Hope Valley Days was a gift from writers to all Hearties. We witnessed the beautifully growing love between Elizabeth and Lucas. The couple's discussion of the best time for a wedding just blew me away.

Mei Sue's new romantic interest in Nathan and the explosive entrance of her husband (past romance) brings excitement & newness to this 9 year old series!!

Bravo to the Cast & Crew of WCTH!

Jennifer from NYC.

What a fun episode. Love all the holiday celebrations and memories it brought for everyone. Love all the special moments with Lucas and Elizabeth and their heart felt conversations. Mayor Hickman is finding his way. Not sure what to think about Mei Sou and her troubles. Loved the driving lessons for Nathan, well he never did drive but funny nonetheless. Great costumes 👏 love Lee stepping up for the Canfields. Great episode 👏

Inspiring
joanlonginojones-1541518 April 2022
I really loved this episode because so many in the town are realizing who they are and what they mean to the town. The town is growing, but those long time residents want it to be at least a place where neighbors love each other and look out for each other. Everyone is going through something but taking time to go back to their roots, will ground them back to their loving community. It had a feel good affect on me.

Writing remains disjointed and the show is getting more boring
sroark-4417023 April 2022
There remains no hope in hope valley. Worse storylines in a season. Fiona is rarely on the show anymore. Nathan has been reduced to a "back seat character". L and E have never had any deep conversations and they are supposedly talking about marriage( a little here, a little there)what? Neither has said I love you yet. Also L and R scenes are not good this year. Miss when L had his logging company & was working there full time. All the 10s are given by TL, they can't find anything wrong with the show bc they haven't opened their eyes yet, they just see kissy kissy with L and E. The show is more than about them, or it use to be before the new writer took over in season 8.

Enjoying the show
care691218 April 2022
This episode is showing us a realistic response to heart break and recovery. Nathan Grant is going on a journey from heart break to happiness and back again. Hopefully people will see that former fans are trying to hurt a great show and get it canceled. Please watch for yourselves!

Nope Valley - what has this show become?
vzbjxsvf23 May 2022
I'm so sad the direction that this once wonderful show took. The viewers were strung along for 3 years leading to a romance that didn't materialize. Instead the bad guy ends up with the girl. It is such a bummer because if E & N had ended up together it would have been such a beautiful romance. The storyline doesn't even make sense and now this season Lucas is turned into Super Dad. Keep in mind - in the past he never, ever spent a second of time with Little Jack (unlike Nathan - who did.) It is not the actors. The writing just doesn't make sense.

Fantastic Episode
coachjohnston-4970518 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The writers are continuing to put a classy product on the screen. They are molding and melding characters and storylines with great precision. Because of the continuing stories, the writers and actors keep us coming back and wanting more. When Calls The Heart is the best and quickest hour on TV and we can't wait until the next Sunday to get here. There is comedy, romance and drama in every episode and this one was no different. And Elizabeth not only proved her love for Lucas, but also gave us a great view of her incredible ability to reach her students, past and current. It concerns me that there are a very vocal few who are out to try to destroy this wonderful show. I, as are others, am very happy that the true fans are able to voice their opinions via the ratings and those continue to be high indicating a season 10.
