Mrs Mary Wells gives evidence against Medium Simon Purbeck, a medium, whom she claims fraudulently took thousands of pounds from her, convincing her that she was communicating with her dead son.
Well this was certainly different, once again there's evidence of the show's wonderful variety. As for this particular story, I can't help wondering if your enjoyment hinges on whether you believe, want to believe, or are totally sceptical. As for me I'm open minded, not convinced, but would like to think there's something there.
I wish they'd perhaps had Purbeck sitting there a little less conspicuous, maybe without that sunglasses.
Joyce Heron was the standout for me, she played the part of the grieving, desperate mother very well.
The Judge's rolled eyes were funny Horatio.
7/10.
