Warning: Spoilers
Walker gets better every week and I love the bond between all of the characters. This week delves into the life of Captain James and brings the return Stan who is such an interesting bad guy. As always, this show is well worth watching and this episode moves the story and the characters forward.

Warning: Spoilers
Capt James (Coby Bell) is shot and Cordell (Jared Padalecki) steps up to take his place and run the department.
That this is even conceivable is a testament to the path the new series has taken to differentiate itself from the original--an extraordinarily popular program, but from another age & time.
Shout out to the writers room for getting us here.
Absolutely huge props to both actors on their scenes tackling the issue of how law enforcement is run. Heartwarming. Intense. Smart.
Also applause for Trey (Jeff Pierre) who was an absolute bad ass in the introduction and a heart melter in his scene with Bonham (Mitch Pileggi)
Stella (Violet Brinson) & Auggie (Kale Culley) have a really well done scene where we find out more about their background with James' family.
Liam lends support, but also has everyone's full attention in his absolutely soul searching ending scene with Stan--maybe a demon deal?

Another great episode of Walker. A lot of really great moments between different characters. Really loved the Trey and Bonham scene as we don't see them together often. Interested to see if Cordell eventually becomes more comfortable with the idea of being a leader at some point. Looking forward to the next episode!

Second Guessing...
the_whitehawk23 March 2022
This show is an excellent blend of a police/crime story with a family/friends story. This is why I watch it. But at this point in the show I have become annoyed by how the characters are always second guessing each other and themselves. I don't mind it happening (once in a while) but it is so constant it is annoying. It makes the fun in the show feel forced.
My Aside Rant: Jared stammering through his lines is annoying. Spit it out!

So much useless drivel

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was about unwatchable. Standing around and talking to a man with a gun is just not reasonable. The only one with sense is the officer who took the shot because the captain could've been shot again at any second and Walker just put down his gun. Twice. And then they discuss how the officer was wrong. In that scenario, the only one right is the officer. There is a reason for certain protocols and they save lives. I am pretty sure everyone involved in this show dislikes law enforcement s they should move on to a new show. Or maybe do some ride alongs with real cops so they have a clue.
