Sex & Nudity

  • Frontal nudity is often shown (female breasts). There's a sex mini game where Kratos entertains multiple whores in a brothel. Nothing explicit is shown except some frontal nudity and sexual moaning from the prostitutes where the player must hit successfully a series of buttons to entertain them. Overall the game has strong nudity depiction and one sequence of sex activity. Nothing more.

Violence & Gore

  • One cutscene showcases a man holding a corpse. The corpse is depicted as being cut in half, with its entrails hanging out, while the still alive man is shown to be missing his eyes before dying.
  • The game is very violent and bloody depicting all manners of brutal fight like decapitations and dismemberments performed by Kratos.
  • Some cut scenes show soldiers dying in a horrifying way very brutally like get stabbed until death or ripped in pieces by undead enemies without mercy.
  • The MOST disturbing in this game as with all God of War games, is that Kratos doesn't hesitate to brutally kill innocent people if they stand in His way only to reach his goal. And his past is very violent cause it is mentioned and briefly shown that he was forced by supreme godly powers and influences to murder his own family.

Profanity

  • Nothing strong, only threats said by the Gods to Kratos of killing him and making him suffer if He doesn't stop his journey of finding his brother.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The game has intense violent scenes and story. Kratos is very brutal warrior and he takes the most personal journey so the whole story is emotionally strong. Some enemies look frightening like bloodthirsty monsters from Greek mythology (Scylla, Death, Minotaurs).
  • OVERALL THE GAME IS FOR ADULTS DUE TO EXTREME VIOLENCE AND SOME STRONG NUDITY.

It's also a hidden trophy so you won't know about it until you unlock it(assuming you don't have the PlayStation app that let's you view hidden trophies)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The very end of the game shows Kratos' brother, Deimos, dying. Scene is somewhat emotional.
