With Ariel Vromen‘s latest project, The Iceman, currently in doubt, the Israeli born director is planning his next directing move. According to Variety, Stone Village has hired Vromen to direct the adaptation of A.D. Miller’s Moscow based thriller, Snowdrops.
Snowdrops, published just last year and Miller’s debut novel, centers on a British lawyer living in Moscow during the wild Russian oil boom in the early 2000′s. After rescuing two sisters from a purse snatcher, he falls in love with one of them, which results in the discovery of several falsities within his life. The novel has received positive reviews from critics for its gripping story line and mesmerizing scenery.
