When 'Mr Sunshine' got it right it was a great show, and this episodes is really one of the best from its short run.
Heather was such an oddly brilliant character, and I really enjoyed the fact that she was key to the plot. Yes, it meant that Allison Janney's screen time was reduced, but I think we know enough about that character by now.
Matthew Perry was on top form too, and his character fits him perfectly. There were so many fab lines (and a nice impression) from him here. His chemistry with future 'Odd Couple' co-star Lindsay Sloane was also fun to see.
I don't think James Lesure has always been used effectively throughout the shows run, but here he is given lots to do, and creates a fun B story. If anything sadly here it was Andrea Anders who was underused.
Look, I'm not saying 'Mr Sunshine' is a classic. But episodes like this prove that it really was a decent show that deserved longer.
