I think that the first season of "Regular Show" was the most solid one.
It didn't have any bad or boring episode, and it keep a high level of quality and originality through all the episodes. It serves perfectly well as an introduction for the characters and their strange adventures, having all the elements that make this cartoon to be so great.
"Mordecai and the Rigbys" was an excellent ending for this great season. It had a great plot, some good character development, and a valid message (It is not good thing lying, or deceiving people, even if this allows somebody to achieve success) not to mention a great and catchy song, which is played during one of the most memorable scenes in the entire series.
A perfect and satisfying conclusion for what was the best "Regular Show" season. If only the newer episodes were so good as this one
