Gothic/Horrorific and yet Ewwww !

Like a band on the run in Stone Henge.

Druids,Goth-ish rogues, fair MODERN DAY damsels and Paranormal Activity as a excuse for murders.

An old mansion, a deserted location. A team of spiritual seekers. An ancient mystery as old as man.

Prepare to journey into the darkest recesses of your own mind as The Stone reveals mankind's inner demons.

The look or atmosphere of film is pretty amazing.

the murders are *** ! the locations are *** ! the film technique *** ! Directors website - http://www.gardinersworld.com/

No stone left unturned

Actually there probably are quite a few that are left that way (no pun intended). That being said, even 11 years ago (or 12 or however long it was when they actually shot this), there seemed to have been less availability when it comes to technical equipment. Even some of the worst movies nowadays still look at least good. In this case right here, the video has not aged that well.

I am mentioning that, so you are aware what your eyes should expect. Of course there are worse movies than the one here - same is true when it comes to the actors. Have to admit, the one poster I saw, is as professional and as intriguing as any other movie can have.

The story is quite insane. Not everything seems to make sense, but if you like low budget horror, there might be something for you to explore here to say the least.

Rubbish found footage effort
Leofwine_draca25 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Another dreadful would-be found footage horror film from writer/director Philip Gardiner, best known as a documentary filmmaker who specialises in the occult. THE STONE is filmed at a real-life haunted building in Nottingham and features all of the usual MOST HAUNTED-style shenanigans with a film crew spending the night there and encountering weird stuff. It's even worse than your normal zero budget found footage effort, which is saying something.

The film begins with a bunch of interviews that have nothing to do with the story, just talking about magic stones and the like. They're here because of padding. UFO expert Nick Pope randomly appears in what must be the nadir of his career. After a while the action moves to Annesley Hall, but what follows is dreadful. Nothing happens, other than some cheap camera effects and lots of non-acting from the cast. Expect random nudity, lots of headache-inducing shaky camera work, no external microphones, and some nonsense about Lord Byron being evil. It's the kind of film where it sounds like nobody knew what they were talking about.

This so awful
jacobjohntaylor117 August 2017
This is one of the worst horror movie I have seen. The story line is awful. The acting is awful. It is not scary just gross at times. The ending is awful. 2.8 is a very bad ratting. But this such a bad movie that 2.8 is overrating it. This is one of the worst horror movies of all time. I give a 1. It stinks more then pooh pooh. If the movies was called the pooh pooh it might have been better. I have never seen such pooh pooh in all my life. Going pooh pooh is more entertaining and lest gross. Do not waste your time. And do not waste your money. Do not see this awful movie.
