Let's call it a brand-new O'Day!
Despite her weekly serving of kickass as one of the strongest players on this season of "Celebrity Apprentice," Aubrey O'Day has forged ahead with her musical comeback by releasing a brand-new single, "Wrecking Ball," on Monday (April 23). Straying away from the slick Pop&B she delivered with Danity Kane and even songs heard in her "All About Aubrey" reality show, "Wrecking Ball" treads waters that Miss O'Day has never ventured before, most notably highlighting her vocal talents.
Trading in her stilettos and hairflips in favor of some touching runs about heartbreak, the mid-tempo "Wrecking Ball" finds Aubrey channeling her inner Kelly Clarkson as she reflects on a seemingly picture-perfect relationship that she's left behind. Co-produced and co-written by David Hodges, Steven Miller and "American Idol's" own Pia Toscano, the breezy song sounds like something that'd fit comfortably with mainstream radio criteria,...

Aubrey O'Day may be sporting red hair these days, but she can't seem to shake the "dumb blonde" stereotype. The former Danity Kane singer and "All About Aubrey" star is kicking some serious butt on Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" this season, but not everyone is expecting her to go very far in the competition.
"I literally have been underestimated my entire career," she told The Huffington Post. "I think ‘Celebrity Apprentice' has roles they want to fit people in and I was the sexy Playboy bunny role. A lot of people were surprised that I would be more than that and they had to restructure what to do with the show because of that."
To crush the bombshell stereotype right from the start, O'Day asked the "Apprentice" producers to not make her 2009 Playboy spread her calling card on the reality competition.
"I didn't want Playboy to be my biggest achievement in life,...

Aubrey O'Day's big mouth has landed her in hot water again ... only this time it's not because of what she said ... it's what she sang. The "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant is being sued over a segment in the finale of her Oxygen reality show, "All About Aubrey" ... in which she sings on top of a track produced by her friend Adonis Shropshire. Here's the rub -- according to the suit, Adonis created that particular beat...

According to Wikipedia, Aubrey O’Day is an “American singer, actress, fashion designer, television personality, and former member of the girl group Danity Kane.” Let’s break this down: Aubrey O’Day sang in a girl group recruited by Diddy for a television show before she had her own reality show, Who The F Is Aubrey O’Huh? All About Aubrey, and now she “designs clothing” in the same way that any dummy with a do-it-yourself origami book is now allegedly a “fashion designer.” (She is also a genius who had the bar codes from Danity Kane records tattooed onto her neck.) Continuing in the parade of lunacy that is whatever is going on here, she was photographed at a shoot in Malibu looking like Pocahontas, if Pocahontas were a drag queen named Poke-a-Mans-Tush with superior tucking skills. In fact, this gay dude wants to know: are all V-cards that tiny?...

Aubrey O'Day's fresh solo material called "Automatic" has been unveiled. An electro-pop tune with bouncy beat, it's her first official single since he left Danity Kane in 2009. The track was released following the season finale of her Oxygen reality show "All About Aubrey".
"It's the first song I recorded for my solo project because I wanted to represent all the people who don't feel the need to go all out to get attention," she said. "This song is for everyone who automatically commands attention whenever they walk into a room! Everything they do is 'Automatic'!"
On Twitter meanwhile, she thanked her fans for their support. "I would like to thank all of my fans for their endless support!" she wrote in a series of posts. "I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to share each step of my solo journey with my fans and can't wait...

Los Angeles, CA, United States (Ahn Entertainment) - On her new show "All About Aubrey," Aubrey O'Day showed viewers all the ups and downs that come with starting all over after the disbanding one of the most successful girl groups in pop. Working towards a successful solo career, O'Day releases her first single to digital outlets.
"Automatic," which was just released to iTunes following the show's season finale, was used as the theme for "All About Aubrey." The single was produced by Adonis, who has written and produced songs for Danity Kane, Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, and more.
"The music is amazing. It's urban pop. Danity Kane fans will love it," Aubrey O'Day told Cns about the tracks she's been working on. "It has a little bit more of my voice in it because I've written everything."

Aubrey O'Day has broken down into tears after being told she is "hefty". The 27-year-old singer and actress was seen upset in the first episode of her own latest reality show "All About Aubrey" when her choreographer Gil Dildulao suggested her to lose some weight.
"Wow, honey, you're looking a little hefty there," so Gil was heard scolding the "Piranha 3Dd" actress in a dance studio. He added that she can actually lose 10 to 15lb. Pointing to her body, the choreographer continued on, "You have to strip all this down".
Aubrey, who was shocked by the words, tried to defend herself by saying that she was not as large as before. The former member of Danity Kane started to cry and said, "I feel fat, I don't like it. I don't like how I have to always be judged for my weight, I hate that."

'All About Aubrey' reality star calls her pups 'the loves of my life.'

There are moments in television that go down as "TV firsts," and on the premiere of Aubrey O'Day's reality show, "All About Aubrey," on Monday night, that moment occurred around minute 32.
To put it delicately, O'Day gets the idea to preserve her Pomeranian's prosperity by collecting and freezing his, um, sample. Don't let it throw you that his name is Mary Ann: O'Day says in her household, "We don't do gender-bias names."
In the scene, O'Day tasks her roommate/assistant with collecting the canine donation with a do-it-yourself kit (the miracles of the Internet!). After the assistant has some difficulty finishing the job, O'Day takes matters into own hands — literally. "Can we get him a hot towel?" O'Day asks at the climax of the scene.

We thought 'All About Aubrey' (Monday, 10Pm Et on Oxygen) was going to be about Aubrey O'Day trying to return to prominence after getting fired from Danity Kane. We didn't know it was going to be such a great guide on how to scare the living crap out of a guy you're being set up with.
O'Day is clearly off her rocker, or as her friend puts it (much more nicely), "She's just so used to the a**holes."
When she was told that this guy, Danny, was great because he's sweet, genuine and not some project that needs to be nursed back to health, O'Day reacted like she'd been told he had the plague and his skin was sliding off of his face.

Aubrey O'Day is officially making her comeback. And to document it all, the former Danity Kane member let cameras follow her for "All About Aubrey." The reality series premieres Monday night (March 7) on Oxygen but MTV News scored a sneak peek for you when O'Day stopped by our offices with an exclusive clip!
In the preview, we see O'Day reunited with vocal coach Doc Holliday, who fans will remember from her first reality-tv stint on MTV's "Making the Band 3" with Diddy. Like he did on that show, Holiday has no problem keeping it real, in this case, giving Aubrey some rather constructive criticism after a vocal lesson.

Back in October 2008, music mogul Diddy famously broke up the fledgling girl group he had created, Danity Kane, by ceremoniously removing the foursome’s bad-girl lead singer Aubrey O’Day (and, yes, D. Woods, too) live on MTV’s Making the Band. Since her exit, the always-buzzy Ms. O’Day, 26, has been doing acting and singing gigs here and there, but it seems she was really just killing time until she could get back to where she feels most at home: in front of the reality TV cameras. Her new docu-series, All About Aubrey — which will mostly chronicle her attempts...

Aubrey O'Day was a headlining member of Diddy and "Making the Band"-assisted girl group Danity Kane before she was unceremoniously fired from the group on national television. With MTV's television cameras having caught her rise to fame, it seems a natural fit that she'd open her life to a camera crew again for "All About Aubrey," the new Oxygen show which chronicles her musical comeback on her own terms.
Or is it? After her "Making the Band" experience, O'Day escaped to Broadway to star on "Hairspray" and later to Vegas for their sexy musical "Peepshow." The last we'd heard of Aubrey were an MTV News interview and a few blogs following the split. She says getting back into reality TV was the last thing on her mind.

Aubrey O'Day, ex-Danity Kane member and irrelevant hoodrat, seems to be hell-bent on turning a crack rock into a mountain. Diddy's poopsack seems to have made her way back from obscurity and landed on Oxygen with a brand new series, obnoxiously titled All About Aubrey. The show will chronicle her return to the tabloids, as well as her attempted return to fame. Are you Nervous? Are you Excited? Because we're not sure yet. Though the song that bumps towards the end of the commercial, "Automatic", sounds kinda cool.
Watch the trailer below. Myself, I'm going to tend to licking the Doritos debris off my fingers. Priorities.
