Strong episode
LoveIsAStateOfMind30 December 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Hawaii Five-O is a rare show that I can watch just for fun: there's no shipping and whilst I like all the characters I don't have extreme love for any of them. Therefore, I don't tend to talk about it much. However, woah, last week's episode!!!!! Chin, Steve and the missing witness? Intense stuff and so action-packed. Realistic or not, I was glued to the screen. And Kono kissed ass throughout but especially that scene at the end! And an equally intense B-plot with Danny/Grace/Rachel too! It kind of felt like that normally each plot would have been given an episode each but because they put it all in the same episode and got the pacing spot on, it was double the awesomeness.

Only Grace Was the Good Thing About Danny and Rachel's Marriage
shelbythuylinh10 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Grace and Rachel are carjacked and that it is the first time we see Steve pilot a copter to chase the person and in that over in the marriage of her new husband Stan, a wealthy businessman.

As it may have to do with the case of an abducted woman. After they rescue Danny's family. As two fake cops kidnap the woman and shoot the real US Marshal.

Wished Steve and Chin would had teamed up more. But of course the show is about McDanno!

Trying to Hard To be Tough
Jim_Me7 February 2011
Reminds me of the Pilot episode, making it seem repetitive. If you have low sugar content in your system then the buck stops here because it's has plenty of eye-candy. The atmosphere has a very tropical nature which will delight Miami Vice fans of yester-year along with enough ego's to keep guns firing and butts well kicked, and can't forget about the beautiful women that turn up the heat with there stunning beauty all done without the help from a Victoria Secrect catalog. When the action happen's, it happens across the board, it keeps all characters involved. The special effects department is where this show shines the best; it doesn't over do it nor under do it. When it comes to the story it side-tracks from the main plot hear and there but it brings it all together in the end, sort of forcing you to bare with it till the end, which is not so bad if your watching from a comfortable location. I can see that this show is still in the process of distinguishing itself from similar shows form the past and with more time I'm sure it will, it's definitely the fastest ride on television without a doubt.

**** Another Great Episode
edwagreen8 February 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Scott Caan proves once more in this episode why he was nominated for a best supporting Golden Globe award. The restraint, worry and anxiety are etched all over him when his beloved daughter is threatened in a car jacking. It doesn't take our terrific sleuth long to realize that Rachel's new husband is involved in this situation.

The bulk of the story concerns itself with an eye witness to murder trying to make it to court to testify what the bad guy has done. This episode gives us an opportunity to learn a new definition for the word cleaner. It's not a very nice definition either.

The Hawaiian scenery is beautiful, but what else is new? Still another great show here.
