- Superman pleads with Lt. Anderson to investigate Ally Allston; Lois receives some very upsetting news; Lois helps Lana prepare to fight the good fight; Jordan is still irritated with Jonathan for lying to him.
- Superman and Tal-Rho have a heart to heart when Superman is imprisoned by Mitch. Meanwhile, Jon's use of X-K com out, much to Lois' disappointment. Sarah questions whether she should reach out to her dad given her parents' separation, and reaches out to a friend for advice.—Gislef
- Superman wakes up in his half -brother Tal's cell, and Superman says that there has been a misunderstanding. Mitch and his men come in, and Mitch says that he's been given full command of the operation and Superman's arrest was sanctioned by Hardcastle herself. When Superman says that he will bring Bizarro in so he can stand trial, Mitch says that he doesn't care about a trial. Superman tells Mitch about Ally and how she knows more about Bizarro then anyone else, Mitch says that he doesn't care and when he returns, Superman will tell him what he knows about Bizarro. Once Mitch and his men leave, Tal invites Superman to tell him everything about Bizarro.
At the farm, Sam tells Lois that Superman is a U.S. government prisoner with Tal, and Sam's contact has told him that Superman is being charged with treason. Lois wants to handle it herself, and her father tells her that she can't just barge into the DoD, and let him make some calls. Lois points out that Sam's calls haven't done anything so far, and Sam says that he'll go to the DoD and try to talk with Hardcastle. The boys come in, and Lois tells them that they're still working on getting Superman freed. Sam leaves, and Lois tells Jordan that the DoD would just deny any story she wrote, and before leaving tells her sons to figure out whatever is going on between them.
At home in the garage, Lana is unpacking and finds a small box with poker chips inside. Sarah comes in with the last of Kyle's stuff, and says that she didn't want Sophie to see the moving Kyle's out. Lana says that she never wanted her daughters to go through a broken house. Sarah assures her mother that none of it is her fault, and Sarah goes to take Sophie to school. Lana finds a newspaper on the driveway with an ad of Dean talking about the value of family.
Later, Jordan approaches Sarah at school. She tells Jordan that Kyle is moving out, and Jordan looks out the window at police pulling up.
Candice finds Jon and kisses him, and says that she brought him some more X-K that should last him a while. Jon tells Candice that he's done and puts the bag of drugs in her bag. The police come in with sniffer dogs, and Jon takes the drugs from Candice, figuring that no one will suspect him, as one of the dogs barked at him.
Lana goers to the Gazette and tells Lois about the newspaper ad about Dean, and Lois agrees with her that it's absurd that Dean is acting as the family-values candidate. When Lana figures that she has to fight back, Lois tells her that Dean paid $3,000 for the ad and Lana admits that she can't afford that. Lois tells Lana not to underestimate the truth that Lana has, and she has to catch Dean off-guard. The police call Lois and tell her that Jon has been arrest.
As Superman paces the cell, Tal says that he pities him after everything Superman has done for humanity. He insists that he is on Superman's side. Mitch comes in and tells Superman that it's his last chance. He refuses to let Superman talk to Hardcastle, and suggest Tal will tell him where Bizarro is. The soldiers enter the cell and put a Kryptonite on collar on Tal, and Superman tells them to stop.
Sarah comes home and Lana asks her what she knows about Jon. Her daughter says that Jordan is freaking out, and she won't use "space drugs". Kyle calls Sarah and she ignores him, and says that she can't talk to Jordan about her family because he doesn't have big problems. Lana suggests that Sarah vent to a friend and ask if there's anyone else she feels comfortable talking to. Sarah has an idea.
At the farm house, Jon tells Lois that he was getting rid of the inhalers. Lois figures that he's lying, and asks if he's selling drugs. Jon says that he isn't, and the X-K isn't considered a drug. His mother points out that the school board is meeting to decide whether he should be expelled, and asks why he had so much. Jon says that he can't tell her, and Lois tells him that he'll be grounded permanently if he doesn't. He still refuses to "rat", and Lois warns Jon that she is pissed and Clark will be as well.
Jordan comes in and Lois confronts him, and he admits that he knew about Jon using X-K, just the other night. Jon admits that he has been using the stuff for the last couple of weeks to beat Timmy, and Lois wonders who Jon really is. She tells both her sons to get upstairs, and they go.
Mitch doesn't care when Superman says that Bizarro may have knowledge of something terrible coming. He asks Tal if he's willing to die for Superman, and Superman gives Mitch Bizarrro's coordinates. Mitch removes the collar and thanks Superman for his "cooperation". Once Mitch and the soldiers leave, Tal knows the coordinates are for Superman's Fortress and figures Mitch will kill him when he comes back. Tal asks Superman what he will do then, and Superman doesn't have an answer for him.
Lois goes to see Lana and says that she needs to talk. Lana invites Lois in, and Lois tells her about Jon using X-K. She also says that Clark doesn't know, and may never forgive Jon. When Lois wonders how she missed Jon's using, Lana tells Lois that teenagers have secrets. Lana says that from Sarah's suicide attempt she learned that the only job for a mom is being there for their children when they have no one else. Lois considers and then says that Lana is a good mom, and Dean accusing her of being a bad mom is bad politics. Lana figures that she has to take the fight to Dean.
Jordan goes to Jon's room, and says that he's selling drugs. Jon says that he thought he'd only be in a little trouble, and finally admits that he's a terrible brother and asks Jordan to just leave him alone.
Tal points out that Superman imprisonment isn't as permanent of his, and suggests the might reveal some of Superman's secret.
Mitch watches from the control room as his soldiers approach the coordinates.
Superman yells at Tal not to threaten him and shoves him against a bookshelf. Tal shoves him away.
The soldiers find Bizarro's suit, and Mitch figures that superman somehow warned Bizarro that they were coming. and they're working together.
The two half-brothers fight, and Tal finally beats Superman down. Soldiers come in and order Tal to back away, and Tal does so.
Hardcastle calls Mitch, and he tells his underling to hold her off. He checks the camera and sees the cell, and realizes Superman is playing possum. The two Kryptonians attack the soldiers and take their guns, and Tal finally shoots out the red sun lamps. Mitch and more men come in, and Tal speeds off, and Superman does so as well after a moment
Later, Mitch gets word that Tal is heading for the Badlands and his Fortress. He figures that Superman and Tal have been working together all along, and prepares to head there via chopper. Mitch opens a case full of X-K.
Superman arrives at Tal's Fortress, where Tal, Lara, and an imprisoned Bizarro are. Tal says that the two of them have joined forces, and Lara would have been proud. Lara translates Bizarro's reverse speech, and Bizarro says that Tal betrayed him on their world. Bizarro explains that Tal's wife tried to kill him.
Sarah meets a girl, Aubrey, at the diner. Aubrey is the girl she kissed at camp, and Sarah apologizes for ghosting her. Aubrey figures that Sarah wants more, and Sarah explains that Kyle cheated on Lana and Sarah figured that Aubrey would understand. They order food and Sarah says that she wants to talk to Kyle but it doesn't seem fair to Lana. Aubrey tells Sarah that she should see her father if she wants. Aubrey starts to go and suggests they could be friends again. Sarah agrees and they hug, and then Aubrey leaves.
That night, Lois goes to Jon's bedroom and suggests they try talking again. Jon explains that he got some X-K and took it to keep up with Timmy, and wanted to be great because it seems to him that everyone else in the family is great at something. He insists that he isn't selling drugs, and Lois says that she believes him and he needs to prove the X-K isn't his, the school board will expel him. Jon refuses and they both say that they're sorry.
At the Fortress, Tal considers that he had wife on the other world. Lara says that something is coming, and Mitch flies in, boosted on X-K. He orders Superman to stand down, and says that he's bringing all of them in. He uses his newly-acquired heat vision on Superman, knocking him down. Mitch then aims his gun at the imprisoned Bizarro and shoots a Kryptonite bullet. It bounces off the force field around Bizarro, and Mitch tells Superman to drop the field. Superman refuses.
Tal attacks Mitch who knocks him aside. Mitch knocks Superman and shoots at him. Tal leaps in the way and takes the Kryptonite bullets meant for Superman. Lara asks Bizarro to help her sons and releases him, and Bizarro knocks Mitch away and beats him. Mitch shoots him with a Kryptonite bullet, and Bizarro shrugs off the bullet and continues attacking Mitch.
Superman calls to Lara for help, and she tells Superman that he has to disintegrate the bullet fragments in Tal's organs, and Superman has to be precise or he'll kill Tal. Superman goes to work and saves Tal, but Tal is too weak to heal because of his exposure to the red sun lamps. Realizing Tal needs a recharge, Superman flies him toward the sun.
Mitch boosts his powers with more X-K, and beats Bizarro down. The soldier uses X-K on Bizarro to weaken him, and tackles him to the ground.
Superman flies Tal up into space, exposing him to the sun's ray.
Mitch finally manages to break Bizarro's neck, and walks away.
Tal doesn't wake up, and Superman flies him back to his Fortress. Superman then finds the dead Bizarro.
Later, Tal wakes up in his cell with Superman. Superman explains that he brought Tal there because he couldn't let him go free, and the matter with the humans has been resolved: more or less. He says that Mitch will escape, and Bizarro is dead and it could have been him if not for Tal. Superman thanks Tal and leaves, and Tal asks him to tell his son that he's sorry. Superman hopes that someday, Tal can tell him himself, and leaves.
Sam tells Lois that a warrant has been issued for Mitch's arrest, and he blames Superman for ruining his career. Clark comes in and Lois hugs him, and he says that all he wants is to be with his family.
Dean is holding a meeting in the diner, talking to the people about family is what matters and knowing what's going on in his own home. Lana comes in and says that she loves everyone in the town, and she'll have to make it clear during their debates. She asks what kind of man Dean is, that he would attack one of his "family" during one of the most painful times of their lives. The other townspeople look disgusted, and Lana leaves.
Sarah approaches Kyle as he leaves an alcohol store, and asks if they can talk. Kyle says that they can.
Clark goes to see Jon and asks what his son was thinking. Jon says that he wanted to be better, and Clark tells him that he will go and apologize to the principal, the coach, and the football team. After Clark and Lois figure out how Jon will finish out the school year, Clark will have a long talk with Jon about the important things he thought Jon already knew. Jon quietly agrees and Clark leaves, and Jon breaks into tears.
Mitch approaches Ally and introduces himself, and says that he heard about her from Superman. He says that he something Superman wants, but it belongs to Ally, holds up the pendant, and asks if she can tell him what it is. Ally says that it's the way to change the worlds.
